This cozy little family run business is a delightful place to visit, wonderful service, and great people to talk to. Fantastic food, on the lower end of price; the salty yet sweet, of the Hispanic soul food vibes, clashing with explosions of flavor, mixing together to make something you never regularly would taste. The family that runs this place, hand cooks everything, fresh ingredients, nothing from a can, like you'd expect from places such as: taco time or tacobell, everyday menu is different, proof of everyday freshness. This day, we went into the business, and it was steak. They switch between days on what they serve for the tacos, between: chicken, steak, and fish, I personally don't know what they choose to cook each day, but I know it alternates, between all listed main ingredients. My group of friends and I chose to eat here because of the fact that it's so close to our almost weekly hang out spot; close in fact, that we can just walk the 4th of a mile it takes to get there from the LGS. We all choose to try different things, be it: an ice cream cone, taco, chili dog, or shake, we all loved what we ordered, the minute it touched our taste buds. I myself got 2 nacho hard tacos(all the way) and a milkshake(so interestingly crafted from the flavors I knew would go Fantastic with one another, that the family there too, had to try the combination). The shake itself was made of: salted caramel, black cherry, blended with the toppings of Carmel syrup, and strawberries(which the strawberries were expertly made into a sauce, which looked fully homemade); the shake was so goof I almost wanted another, but held back from getting one, I couldn't hold back from ordering more tacos though, had to take more...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI saw a brightly colored sign abruptly pop up in front of what had previously been an exceptionally dead store front recently in a location that is well trafficked but has historically been underdeveloped.
I popped in without my kids to check it out and make sure they'd like it before we made a family trip, and I must admit that I was very impressed.
The tacos were good and freshly prepared. I had a strawberry cheesecake sundae to die for after. I got to chat a few minutes with the owner and she seemed such a genuine person who loves her business. I'm glad to see something unique come to Lexington.
Ice cream is all Hershey branded and delicious.
In addition to the eponymous ice cream and tacos, they do serve chili dogs and have some canned drinks available. There is not, to my notice of the menu, any way to get a taco shaped ice cream. Obviously that's not a problem, but it is something that you want to keep in mind if you were visualizing that.
Indoor and outdoor seating are both options though you would probably need to do outdoor if you had a...
