Walked into the dining room at the Wade Hampton Blvd branch. No one else was in line, so I walked up to the counter to place my order. After standing there for a few minutes, waiting for someone to take my order, someone at the preparation counter in the kitchen looked over at me and said, "Use the self-serve kiosk to order". I had wanted to ask a question before placing my order, but apparently that isn't an option.
So, I placed my order at the kiosk and paid for my order at the kiosk and entered my name to be notified when my order was ready. 15 minutes later, I am standing in the dining area waiting to hear my name called so that I can receive me order. At about this time (15 minutes after placing my order at self-serve kiosk), an employee walks up to the counter and asks me if she can help me. I respond that I am waiting for my order. She looks around and asks my name that I entered when placing my order (on the self-serve kiosk). I tell her my name & she checks the ordering screen and does NOT find my order. So she asks me what I ordered. I tell her. She goes back to the preparation area & has someone make my order, which that person brings out to me at the counter.....20 minutes after I originally placed my order.
Either the self-serve kiosk does not work to notify the employees when a new order has been placed or else the employees have not been trained on how to check orders from the self-serve kiosk. This is the self-serve kiosk that I did NOT wish to use since I wanted to ask a question about the menu, but that I was told that I had to use.
Whoever is managing this particular location of Taco Bell desperately needs to either have the self-serve kiosks checked for correct functionality or else arrange for some serious training to be provided for the employees at this location.
I heartily recommend that no one go to this Wade Hampton Blvd location in Greenville SC...
Read moreMy family and I stopped in on Monday for dinner. As we were placing our order, apparently the manager begins to make our food before we finished ordering. We realized that there was an ingredient on one of the items that we didn't want. The manager told the employee in drive-thru to let me know that she would not be making my food over because she had already made it like it comes. I explained to the manager by way of the young lady (very pleasant & patient by the way) that I was a paying customer and there was no way I was going to pay for something that I didn't want. Let's just say that it went all the way South at that point. When I pulled to the window to speak to the manager face to face about her district managers number, she informed me that she did not know it nor could she get it. She told me to go online. I spoke with customer service on the 800 number. They assured me that I would hear back from someone. Nothing! I went to another Taco Bell not too far from where I was and I was given the district manager's number. I have left messages and still I haven't spoken with anyone concerning me and my family receiving the poorest customer service I can ever remember. Writing this now still has me real warm. I have NO intentions on ever returning back to this Taco Bell. If you visit this particular location, and you see a short, skinny Black female manager named Laketha Simpson there, I advise you to leave! You are in for a horrible experience, and I would never want anyone to experience this type of service ever.
Btw, I only have one star because I had...
Read moreWe went through the drive-through to hurry. We made 2 separate orders, Chalupa Crave Boxes. We paid for boxes for convenience. Our food was thrown haphazardly into a bag. I asked for another bag. Food leaked on my clothes while I was trying to separate the mess. We had to turn around, go back to the Taco Bell, ask for our food to be re-prepared like they should have been. They didn't even apologize for the way they threw the orders together. This is sloppy, disrespectful, and a waste of our time. We're stopped for speed but were in the drive- thru for 5 minutes because the white man working there couldnt hear!!! I assumed he was hard off getting(why let him work there?). As I waited for the order to be re-made, I noticed that he is using a headset with paper towel between his ear and the earpiece. He kept asking customers to repeat themselves on each order (huh, huh, huh). Poor, poor, poor customer service!!! The Sierra Mist/Sprite had no syrup. I didnt pay for seltzer water. I went back to the lobby twice emptied and refilled it. Each time no syrup. I finally got Baha Blast. The last few times i went to the TB store on Wade Hampton there was some type of issue with my food. I stopped going for a long time. I guess I'll go someplace else from now on. We spent a total of just under $30, including the food the kids got. I dont know about everyone else who was with me, but I probably wont be back anytime soon. Poor product presentation. Customers expect what we pay for! Chulupa crave BOX, drink with syrup, speed, accuracy, courtesy, respect, &...
