Very disappointed at this place yesterday dinner. Horrible attitude, I can’t even star them!

No service at all

Rude

Food was meh (My husband ordered a BBQ CHEESEsteak which came without):&/@;@/ cheese

My daughters cheeseburger cold small and lame

My pimiento cheesesteak was decent just the bread cold and soggy and my onion rings sucked 3!!! 3 freakin onions! 3 bottle cokes

All this $57

You come in and you can feel the rude vibe. You DONT feel welcome. The guy threw you the menu and he leaves on the back to the grill. Here comes a long face rude lady, she’s just talking on the phone like a robot taking orders too but very rude with the physical customers there. You feel afraid to ask her something because of her voice tone and no manners at all. You just want to take your food and run and never come back !! I wonder why they closed Boiling Springs location , if they feel so superior with there hoagies go back up north!!! Keep your rude attitude in Philly!

You don’t want our business? We don’t want to do business with you. Period.

She yelled at my child touching one of the solar moving toys “she’s can’t touch those “ On a table they’d have in the front to wait I assume, because you’re not allowed to dine in! They have a handwritten sign saying dining area with an arrow pointing to go inside, well husband did!!!! And Omg she told home VERY rude “ you can’t go inside!! There’s a sign on the front door for take out”.. Okay he said looking. At me like let’s get our ass out of here as soon as the food is ready.

Food was ready in a bag to leave. He goes and ask again can Inhace extra ketchups and extra napkins please? She was on the phone again!!! Never looked at him or spoke, just pointed at the bag like saying there are inside there . Leave !!!!!!

We left straight home to eat because it was close to 8 and we were starving !!!! He told me in the car better this food is bomb because we never come back again .

Food was regular nothing spectacular.

My husband ordered specifically BBQ CHEESEsteak which came without cheese .. soggy cheese fries

My daughter cheese burger nasty small cold and soggy and my pimiento cheesesteak pretty good (meat) but the bread cold and soggy too. My onion rings sucked.

Don’t go there !!!!! If you want a real deal cook it home and have a nice dinner on a Friday night . Don’t give them...

There is no doubt that there are a lot of places that claim they are serving "Authentic" food from what ever city it's from. How many New York pizza places have you seen and ate at that did not do the city of it's origin justice.

Let me introduce you to a place that is a complete 180 degrees of that. The Real Deal name pretty much says it all. I decided to check this place out because it's hard to find good cheesesteaks period.

The cheesesteak in the picture is how they eat it in Philly according to the lady there. What is it you ask, it's a cheesesteak with onions, mayo, salt & pepper ketchup. I was skeptical at first, but tried it anyway. When in Rome is what I say. I know what you're thinking, isn't it suppose to have wiz on there? To you I say shut your filthy mouth and just take a bite. Life changer.

Not only is the cheesesteak authentic, but the Philly attitude and feeling is there too. Don't go there if you get offended easily and can't take a joke. Actually go in there order the cheesesteak and get your feelings hurt. After that you can sit in you car crying about how you were made fun of while eating a life changing cheesesteak and realize the abuse is totally worth it.

Ashville Hwy is not the prettiest place, but it definitely is the BEST place to get cheesesteaks in the Upstate. The wife and husband who run the place are absolutely great souls with the Philly hospitality.

If you go, tell them Francisco sent you and they might throw something at...

Passed through here a while back and wanted to share the positive experience I had.

This place is called “The Real Deal” and it did not disappoint.

I don’t feel that I ever had an authentic cheesesteak before until I stopped in. I asked Dana to prepare a sandwich the way she would eat it, to make sure I had a genuine experience.

Her typical way of preparing a cheesesteak is with a prime cut of meat, finely chopped, with some onions and seasoning, and provolone or American cheese.

The food was prepared quickly, with fresh ingredients.

Because it’s not overloaded with toppings, you can really savor the flavors of the meat, cheese, bread, and seasonings. It’s a filling meal that doesn’t feel too heavy, greasy, or unhealthy because it’s prepared with care and top-notch ingredients.

I order a 6” lunch special with fries and a soda, and it was reasonably priced compared to all the costly junk fast food that’s out there these days.

If you check their Facebook, you can see that the menu is filled with a lot of offerings to satisfy any palate, and I’m positive they’ll all be equally as good.

Stop in for a filling, tasty, and healthy lunch prepared with TLC by Dana - you won’t be...

$26 for 2 poorly cooked sandwiches Skip It and try elsewhere. Unless you're desparate or just got out of jail. -They gave you 1 full slice of cheese for a 12 inch Sandwich I expect cheese if I'm paying more. - Asked for salt and pepper like you would in Philly (I'm from S.Philly) was given an ungodly amount of pepper. - Meat was dry and overcooked and hard in places. - Woman with locs got an attitude with my little mom about pickles. -Retire that woman she's tired and angry. I'm tired for her and I sat in the car. Try Inkys or Harry's Hoagies.

Its mushy and nasty they can't even make decent fries. why do they put hot tea in a plastic picture when they have a metal tea thing. they are also rude telling me my grandmother can't cook because I wanted oil and vinegar. on my sandwich what's their excuse for serving me that slop. when they didn't even put oil and vinegar on it my sandwich like I asked and on top of that. they didn't even know what vinegar goes on a sandwich I paid 35 dollars I guess for the hell of it they don't deserve any stars.
