I just had an awful experience at Taco Grill. I called in an order just before I clocked out of work, hoping that would decrease the waiting time. After getting there I had to sit and wait another 25mins. What happened next was completely inexcusable... I tried confirming my order with the woman that was working. She was super rude and when I mentioned "beef sope" she about lost her mind. Apparently we had a miscommunication on the phone and my sope was never made. No biggie, not a big deal I say I'll be okay without it. She just keeps grinning and laughing, saying "sope, no sope" and what seemed like belittling me. She actually made me feel dumb for checking on my order. Well, lady, you got my order extra wrong. My chicken quesadilla turned out to be ground beef and it was super gross. Nothing against beef but just look at how grease-soaked the box is. The tortilla was so saturated it was just oozing. It was nasty and now it's in the trash where it belongs. So yeah, terrible customer service combined with an incorrect order is a recipe for never coming back. I was so excited to try out this spot after friends recommend it to me. Such a...
Read moreAMAZING AMAZING AMAZING Did I say beyond amazing. I went there again today and even though you have to wait a while because there's only two people working and it is CASH only, it is the best Mexican food I've had in all of South Carolina it is worth the drive and it is worth the wait. This is truly authentic. nobody makes it like these guys. I would give this place a 20 star rating if I could. All of the food that we've tried so far is the best, so fresh and delicious. I really wish they would open another restaurant on the east side of Spartanburg because people would be lined out the door the location that they have right now is kind of off the beaten path so it's a little hard to find and it's really far from our house. if I lived close to here I would probably be here every day I can't say enough good stuff about it and the chef is phenomenal and he is very nice and all of the staff are very nice too....
Read moreTaco Grill has been my go-to place for authentic Mexican food for well over half a decade. I have fond memories of eating inside the shop, as well as enjoying the food from the comfort of my own home. Service is slow, they never pick up their phone, and the business is Cash Only. All of these factors pale in comparison to the quality and amount of food you will receive from this establishment. Unlike other “Mexican” “restaurants” I’ve frequented, Taco Grill makes their food to order. The benefits of this are knowing that you will receive fresh ingredients, hot food, and a personal aspect which cannot be found anywhere else. Prices are still phenomenal considering the heartache which Democrats at the federal level have caused to small businesses in regards to inflation. “Bidenomics” has done nothing but hurt small businesses and pander to large corporations, still… Taco Grill remains ever-vigilant in providing great food to customers at a...
