Wendy's — Restaurant in South Carolina

The people here have lost their minds. But this time they have messed with the wrong one!!! The bullying & abuse of power will end NOW...especially over a freaking burger!!! I went there one evening to get 2 single meals! No ketchup no tomatoes Im allergic to tomato products. My kid usually just doesn't eat it because we dont eat them in our home... We get home and although I noticed the ketchup before I bit into the sandwich, and to my disgust tomatoes and ketchup was on both burgers! I was frustrated it had been a long day and I was hungry and tired.. I attempted to call but no answer so I ate something else!! The next day I returned advising the woman who came to the window what happened and requested a refund for both meals which had tomatoes & ketchup. She was very kind and she took my receipt and refunded the money. Part way up the road I realized she refunded only for 1 meal. I called no answer. I was in route somewhere and could not go back.. however I returned at a later time telling them what happened. The lady who had refunded the 1st meal called her manager up front who was Ms. BULLY, nasty and rude and clearly abusing her authority. Although the woman told her I did have a receipt and she only refunded for 1 meal. The bully said. We are not refunding for another meal even if it was incorrect. I will replace both meals! Just because I was upset at her demeanor I advised her I didn't want anymore meals from Wendy's at this location and want a refund. She refused again offering 2 meals instead. I told her she only owed one but her need to control and abused l her power demanded and insisted i take 2. Finally I agreed but I truly had lost my appetite and I had no need for 2 meals because my son was working and fast is not good to me cold!!! She took my name and as requested my sons name because I will never at there again! Bur he could utilize her the 2 meal replacement if desired. A few nights later my son asks me to stop and get one of the meals! Do you know the woman ( same woman who refunded me the first time and took our names knew of the forced 2 meal replacement called her manager the Bully... They had the nerve to say i was getting any refund or replacement and get out of the line or they were calling the police!!!! REALLY I've committed a crime because Wendy's made my burger wrong, and I requested a refund... And now im a criminal???? I was hott. I filed a complaint today let's see how that goes, filing complaint with BBB next and if Someone doesn't make me a happy camper with a smile on my face & an apology from the Bully! I will be fling a civil complaint!!! Over a freaking burger... she took it there so Let's Go... im a legal secretary and sorry you bullied...

Absolutely Disgusting my wife and I walked in a 7:30pm to get a bite before we had to meet people. Upon walking in the place was filthy dirty from the front to the back of the store.

Before we placed the order I see. And my wife see. This girl smoking in the office! She was exhaling smoke and holding her ashtray in the left hand putting out the cigarette.

I’m like that is not allowed in any restaurant.

We placed our order and the boy Riddick took our order was a nice kid. After we placed the order we got the drinks and couldn’t find a clean table in the place. We asked him to wipe the tables , so he did 1 only one.

There was 2 other families in there eating as well. He walked away and I had to get him to come back and wipe the chairs as well.

Then our food arrives not only was my fries cold my hamburger was raw! Not med well or med rare , raw.! I told the girl I want all my money back and she did no questions asked. I said the burger is raw did you look? She is like no. She couldn’t have been there 18. I said whisbthe manager? She said I am. I felt way to young for that roll. However that explains the filthy restaurant. I asked who’s the lady in the back room I see through the window? She said the manager!, her name was Heather, I said what’s her name? She said I have to ask! I’m like reall! Ya want to be immature get her out here.

This woman Deb! Came out with an attitude like everything that happened was our fault. She could care less about anything we called the 800 number voiced our experience, and await a return call from corporate.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever been in and will never return. This management needs replaced and everyone above her thatvallows this place to be operated like this.

There seems to be a lot of different places you can get reviews. This particular store seems to run around three stars give or take but if you notice that they do have a lot of low scores, my score is a one star, as of course you can see. I had to work late last night so stop by to get a burger from Wendy’s because I thought they were pretty good 😖 wrong!! I had ordered a Carolina Classic and I wanted extra chili on it and extra slaw and an extra patty as well, after driving away I checked the burger there was literally almost no chili virtually no slaw on it! Great!! While in line waiting on my burger I noticed that there was beginning to be a line behind me. I guess they had to scrape some chili off the bottom of the pan!! so I really didn’t want to go back and get in line.I could see that the chili was old, but hungry, I took a couple of bites.and threw it out the window. Maybe a hungry dog would come along and eat it! It’s great to be open till 2 AM, but I was there at like 1030. I couldn’t imagine going there at 1 o’clock in the morning and ordering anything , I don’t know I’m just frustrated and disappointed. What’s the point in staying open late If you can’t consistently serve your customers decent food? I think it would have been better if they couldn’t make it properly to just say I’m sorry sir that’s not available right now would you like to order something else but...
