Wendy's — Restaurant in South Charleston

Since corporate has yet to respond, I'd prefer to get this out there so everyone can see. I didn't want to give the service 1 star, because the employees are generally decent to talk to and service isn't bad. We've eaten here for years, but Tuesday will be the last day. We got a chicken sandwich that we had to return. The chicken was very tough and my wife couldn't even bite through it. I tore it apart to find it brown and crusty inside. I returned it for something else and even the manager said "ew, I'm going to take a picture of that." I assume he sent it to their quality control. We got a burger in return and, when i got home, my wife took the bun off and said, "does that look like a leg that just fell out?" (See the images). I'm always skeptical but I couldn't deny it. I asked where it was and she pointed to the cheese on the side. We lifted the cheese to find a body with wings attached baked into the cheese and the head of some type of insect beside it. No thanks wendys. It's pretty sad in 2-3 days, I still hear nothing in return. I emailed both compliance and...

We dined inside...Place was nasty, dirty. should have walked out right then and there.The wait to order was ridiculously long and there was only one person in front of us who had already received his food waiting on a carry out drink tray. Finally the cashier obviously not to excited to there decides to take our order doing so with one elbow resting on the order screen while resting her head in her hand. Me: Home style chicken, extra tomato, large fry, small chili and a small drink...Cashier: was that a large chili? Me: No a small chili... My order came out as a Home Style chicken no tomatos, small chilli, large chili, small water and no fries.... Can't understand why my order was wrong... Sad too, we're locals and we were excited to see the existing structure get a facelift...When management gets a facelift we might decide to come back to the South Charleston, WV...

Came to this. Wendy on April 5 2002 about noon lunch time to get me and my 87 mom chicken sandwich after her Dr appt as we waited in drive Thur they had back door open and one lady worker came out smoke and then use e smoke after she walk back in blow that smoke inside while we got to window they lady who was bagging products was waiting and seem nobody was making sandwich ..she go make sandwiches with no Gloves on don't know if hands was clean or any cut on her hands with no Gloves saw this with my own eyes .. I use like this Wendy never come to this place again..had waste my money and time and gas waiting for unsafe food ..had go to another place to get my mom food she was scared even drink her senior drink didn't know that was safe too . I know they good put there finger in cup when fix a drink . So thankful God was looking out for us...
