The pizza was absolutely delicious!!! Seriously delicious! The crust was JUST right sauce was great amount of cheese and pepperoni perfect! I thought the prices were very reasonable as well. We dined in and its a small place. I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star and here is why!
We came in and i felt tense INSTANTLY when our waitress cane over to “greet” us (which she didnt, all we got was a “how many” and she looked miserable) right away i was thinking GREAT🙄) we got seated at a booth which was sitting under an air vent (that wasnt a big deal but what was..) the vent was dripping water onto the table. We somehow got switched servers (thank goodness cause ours as stated earlier looked miserable and i couldnt stand it) asked to be moved to the table next to us which we did. Anywho. Our server wasnt bad in-fact she had a better attitude (still wasnt 100% not Miserable and didnt smile, but her tone of Voice was better). We got our food which was as i said delicious! Couldn’t have asked for a better pizza really. So got our bill, paid and i gave our waitress the book thing in hand with our bill (i pay cash alot when out of state). Omg our waitress SMILED and here is why!
I understand this place reviews are great a few negatives which I understand those as i seen at my Visit. I gave our waitress a 16 dollar tip because of this exact reason & it had NOTHING to do with how tasty our food was. This place is a small restaurant, and BUSY. That phone rang non stop when we were there. People came in to eat it was a packed house. These waitresses werent (maybe) miserable, they were exhausted from non stop going. Between taking orders over the phone, taking customers who came in to eat orders, then preparing some food (as we could observe from our seats) and also for pick up ha ding and paying for those orders. You could see these girls could have used another hand somewhere along the lines. I saw in my server that she was exhausted, she was busy and i dont think she was 100% miserable (i couldnt exactly say that for the girl who was suppose to be our 1st server she literally looked miserable tho) she probably thought id only give her a few bucks for a tip.
To my server I never got your name but sweetie PLEASE smile a bit more! The only thing this restaurant in my opinion has that would make me not give a full 5 stars or even want to come Back to dine in is the attitudes of the servers!
Smile and be a bit more friendlier! Im not a local! I am from...
Read moreAs a long time customer of Pagano's, it makes me really sad to post this review. My husband and I have been going there for YEARS and have sent many friends and family there because of the great food and it's locally owned. We try to patronize locally owned small businesses as much as possible. But today not only answered a question we had wondered about for a while, but shocked us! My husband and I stopped in for lunch and had just finished our delicious sandwiches. We had enjoyed friendly service and were relaxed and waiting for our bill, and all of a sudden we heard the owner screaming at the two servers about how to answer his personal phone calls and that he had already told them a thousand times before! Thank goodness the restaurant was empty except for one other customer. The servers were so embarrassed. The owner went in his office. I got up from our table and went to ask to speak to the owner, he came out of his office. I explained I had witnessed what happened, got upset with him, he did offer an apology but at that point, after seeing him IN ACTION with his employees, treating them with such disrespect & verbal abuse. Nobody deserves to be yelled at in public. Now we know why there are new servers every time we go in (except for Katie, but we haven't seen her in a while), and why they always have a Help Wanted sign out front - I mean, who could work for a guy like this?(from what I saw) Anyway, we won't be going back. It's Paul's decision not to patronize a businessman that is verbally abusive to his staff,...
Read moreFood was excellent. Unfortunately the waitress over charged my credit card added a pizza that we didn't order, charged me for a large sandwich not a regular. I gave her a $5 tip she thought it was ok to give her self $10 more dollars guess she thought her service was worth $15 not the $5 that I thought she was worth place was not busy I had to ask for my refills and for more bread n butter then I had to search for her in order to pay my bill by this time I'm pretty heated so I didn't pay attention to the cost or even study my receipt as I normally would do I had been there long enough and was ready to go.. So two days go by I'm paying my bills I get to my capital one credit card and see that there are a lot to discrepancies so I call the bank and the bank teller is the one who actually caught the issue because my receipt said I was charged $41 and the cc statement showed she changed $51 so I go to the restaurant and they offered me a $50 gift card that is what they thought was worthy of all that they have created over this but however I did not except there offer they said they needed to get with the accountant and they would call me the next day to either pick up a cash refund or to tell me the money is refunded back to my card well it's now been 4 days and I have not gotten a phone call nor has the money been credited back to my account... Will update.. so if you dine at pagonos make sure you check what they changed you but the...
