KFC — Restaurant in South El Monte

Not one container was full, even the Famous Bowl. There was NOTHING tender about the tenders as they were hard, chewy, thin, and half the size of any other KFC. The fries were half empty and soggy. The coleslaw was also half empty and WARM! (I took it out of the bag as soon as the girl put it in with all the hot food, drove home with it in front of the air conditioner, and it was still warm and nasty!) I got 2 root beers, and both taste dirty, and I think no one cares to clean or change the syrup or carbonation. Not one employee smiled, or seemed to like their job. They looked unkempt, and ready to drink the Kool-Aid. What I ordered was not what I received, and then they UP charged me (didn’t just charge me the $1) for what I should’ve had in the bag, and didn’t even give me a receipt for the lie. I gave up on trying to eat the $35+ of food that I bought there, and ate a cup of noodles because the food was vile! Go to ANY other KFC. This one is trash! They don’t care how much you spend, or what you ordered. They’ll give you what they want. These pictures are right after I walked out the door, and got into my truck. This has to be the best KFC I have ever visited. I had the option to go to a KFC closer to my location but decided to try this one due to it's rating. I am so glad I decided to order from here. I placed my order, paid online, arrived to pick up my order, and was immediately greeted and given nothing but excellent service from the staff on hand. Jeanette was awesome. She packed up my order and even helped me to my car with my food (I am disabled). Very hospitable and nothing but good food and great service. I live in East L.A. but next time my family's craving the Colonel, this location is worth the drive. If your ever in the South El Monte area and your craving the colonel I strongly advise you to stop by this KFC location. You won't regret it! Worst KFC branch in the US! I asked for crispy skin, but they gave me grilled chicken. They said 4 thighs and 4 legs, but they only gave me 3 and 5 legs. The front desk was rude and refused to refund my money. They even swept the floor around me when I was eating there.
