After years going here, I finally left a 1 star rating. Sunday morning, I walked in to get my usual with my personal cup so I could get the discount and not order ahead. It was a long wait and when I started seeing people who purchased their drinks after I did got their drinks, I let the barista know that I'm waiting on mine still. She rudely said to me there is a lot of orders so she would get to mine when it's my turn. Well duh.. I said I have to leave soon otherwise I wouldn't say anything if i had all the time in the world. She told me if I don't want to wait, I can leave and take my refund. Wow! Instead of maybe get my drink first since I had to leave she chose to say that. If she doesn't like her job, then please get a new job. But I chose not to say that to her because I really had to leave. I didn't get her name, but it's Sunday morning 11/12. It's not that I dont want to wait, but I can't wait over 15 mins for a drink. So maybe a manager can have a word with her. And really it would be nice to let me know what the estimated waited time is before I purchase. The reason I'm going to starbucks is so I can get my drink faster than making it at home. I'm not coming back here again. With the overpriced drinks, this isn't the treatment I want to get. I did get a refund but what I didn't get was my time back....
Read moreOkay, this is a new post and current update on this Starbucks location. Hats off to Starbucks management for all of the great changes that have taken place here recently. Way to empower your front-line people and allow for them to make changes that best suit their customers. The place had gotten a little stale, and many of the regulars had started to leave and some to the competition. Jesse has come in and changes the entire vibe. The staff seems to love the energy, and it really shows. They seem happier, the place has personal touches all around extremely clean, 🪴 by the tables...this is what a coffee shop should look and feel like. I imagine the original Starbucks probably felt like this. Hats off to letting the team express what Starbucks is all about. People are talking about all of this when you are in the store and on social media. Great, great job... keep it up.
Here is an update-things here just keep getting better. The location handles a ton of business, both walk in and drive up. The staff handles everything seamlessly and with a great attitude. It is one of the best overall locations I have ever been to. Everyone keep up the...
Read moreI’ve tried a few visits (walk-ins), before leaving this review, and I must now. Very impersonal vibe here. It’s 7:30, they close at 9 and I was told the pastries (lots of them visible), were already setup for tomorrow … so I may not get the pastry I asked for. I found that comment odd, with so many packaged items sitting there, in and out of the case. Why setup the case for the next day almost two hours before close? I am a barista and café worker / runner myself, and we don’t let people walk in the door or up to the counter not acknowledged in some way shape or form, and this happens almost every time I come in … the rush is so apparent in here, that the greetings / opportunities to really create returning customers here seems lost. I’m sitting outside at a table, facing the drive thru, and it’s dead. Not a single car since I started writing this, so it isn’t like the drive-thru held up any service skills. And there’s only been one couple inside during this time. I shouldn’t feel unwelcome, rushed, or that the place is “closing” already. Too early. This is the only corporate store near me unfortunately so I kept trying. This hasn’t...
