Denny's — Restaurant in South Miami

Most Denny restaurants in Miami have gone through much needed renovations. No longer are you hit with the smell of rotting rug. Some of you will know what I am talking about. This renovation isn't limited to the decor, Denny's menu has always changed and for the better. My family and I have a little tradition in which we would go to out local IHOP on Sundays and one day I convinced my wife to try out this Denny's instead. Let's just say that we haven't been back to our local IHOP. Their menu is much better and we especially appreciate the new breakfast items that have fresher ingredients and is served sizzling on a cast iron skillet. Yummy! What I would change about our experiences are two things, it's often warm in their, and I think I know why. On Sunday mornings, when we go, theirs a lot, and I mean a lot of elderly patrons, so I am sure they keep the place a little warmer for them. I could be wrong but something that I always notice. Secondly, and I hate that I even have to mention this, the waitresses always seem exhausted; as if they've been working on their 3rd straight shift. I say this because I've noticed when I order, I have to repeat myself numerous times, as if the poor ladies are so exhausted and want to hear me but their fatigue is making it difficult. My husband and I went to eat there last weekend 01/08/2023. They served me undercooked harsh brown. It looks like undercooked sauteed shredded potatoes NOT harsh brown. See the first picture. I let the server knows that it was undercooked. She took it back and I heard her voice from the kitchen telling the chef "this is not well cooked". Less than 30 second later she came back with harsh brown, see the second picture. I could easily imply that they didn't do anything but switch the plate and turned it upside down and brought it back to me because the harsh brown temperature was as cold as it was when I gave to the server letting her know that it was undercooked. The chef who cooked that harsh brown should learn how to cook or go find another job. More interesting thing is when I was in line to pay, I looked inside their opened kitchen and saw a server putting customer's food, which are dishes with pancake and some other items, in the microwave, heated them up and brought it to the table. Wow, I was wondering who are those unlucky customers to eat those microwaved pancakes, burgers, etc. So we learned that they served not only undercooked food, but also food were pre-made frozen and heated in the microwaved to serve to customers, but they fool everyone that their food...

You walk in to and will have to wait 30 minutes when there’s literaly nobody in the restaraunt they lady will go and act like she’s cleaning the plates to force you to leave the businesses so she doesn’t have to do anything but be lazy whoever runs this business must be her family member or groomer but must say you are losing a lot of money and I tip very well this is the world we live in lazy rude selfish people get a job that others wish they can have yet they get out in a position in the job where they can do whatever they want so if you wanna drive waste your gas and time wait 10 minutes to be seated and then once you go to pay or if you even sit down to get your order the lady will also take forever soemthing mental going on or am just a real selfish wicked person put so much energy into being lazy it’s less energy just doing the work but hey now I see why I went there years ago and nothing has changed ever since never will I come to this location ever again years ago the same thing happens and I made the mistake by not keeping my word on never going there again decide to take a chance try again and same person same thing business owner does not care about maximizing his profit …Sunday September 3:27 time if lazy selfish worker ..maybe she the...
