Just one of the worst experiences I have ever had. And in terms of the burgers, they are perhaps a small step above a frozen burger I can make at home myself.
To start, all the parking available is paid valet parking, so that’s already a bad start.
Then, when I went to order the burgers, I wanted 2 burgers with double patties on both. I was told I could not have an extra patty because the GRILL IS FULL!!!??? They didn’t state something like, hey it’s going to take some more time, maybe like 10 min longer, or any alternative option, just simply “no, we are not doing extra patties, the grill is full”… An extra patty is 4 dollars, so for both my burgers would be 8, but, when I stated, fine can I order a third burger, then the problem was solved, because an extra burger is 14 dollars, so all of a sudden, the grill was not full.
This place is a scam and has horrible customer service.
On to the burgers themselves. I got all 3 of the burgers (Lala smash, Classic smash, and Maxwell smash), and they were a step above a frozen burger I could make at home, or on par with like a Dennys burger, nothing special at all, waste of money. The pepperoni on the Maxwell smash was disgusting and ridiculously greasy and overpowered the whole burger, so bad. And the buns they use for all the burgers have about a thousand, annoying and burnt sesame seeds. The bun is all sesame seeds, and makes the burger that much worse of an experience to eat.
So in the end: Terrible customer service and a scam Bad parking situation Horrendous thousand sesame buns (every single piece of the top bun is covered in sesame seeds, and they burn them) Burger about as good as a dennys burger and one you can make at home
Awful place, pure garbage, hype is paid for through Instagram and TikTok, please...
Read moreLala's Burgers and Fries is located inside Lincoln's Beard Brewery just off of Bird Road and 73rd Ave. Lincoln's Beard has become a neighborhood staple as they have a gazillion beers to choose from as well as a full bar. You can catch bands playing here on the weekends. Lala's recently opened up, where last I recall was a taco truck. I saw an Instagram post advertising their smashburgers. They looked delicious so my wife and I decided to fo. Parking in the area is tricky as there are several tow away zones, so beware. Luckily there is a sign with a QR code outside the Brewery indicating a parking map. So on to the food. The menu is simplified and there are only 3 choices for burgers and fries. They do not serve drinks at Lala's; you must purchase them at Lincoln's Beard. We ordered a Lala's Burger, a Classic Burger, and a side of fries. We had to wait 25 minutes for our order to be ready not including the 15 minutes in line. When our order was ready, we picked it up on a white paper bag. Upon opening it, the burgers were at the bottom and the loose fries were on top. Not a smart move. We had to dig the burgers from the bottom of the bag. When we tasted the burgers, they were just ok. There was no flavor in the meat at all. They dress it up with sauces and such, but it does the burger no justice. I highly recommend the formulation of the meat patty change, or spice it up before grilling. But it was just bland. We spent $32 not including drinks. If the burgers had good flavor, this would have been a more favorable review. Fuddrucker's has better tasting meat. Does not live up...
Read moreI love apocalypse and had to give lala a chance. This place is another version of skinny Louie or coneys. I had the the bacon where had pickled onion caramelize bacon crispy onions American cheese, some type of sauce and your average 5 oz burger that cost $17 plus your fries. The total was 24s with something cents. In my opinion it's a bit overpriced due to the fact that you have to worry about your car not being towed. There's no specific place to get parking per say. Another thing if you are overstimulated or overwhelmed by bands, people being upon people don't come to this place cuz I was very overwhelmed. I wasn't expecting a rock band as I come in through the ring and then there's a rap brand in a corner which was good. Don't get me wrong but adults need some type of guidance. When it comes to your burger they text you and I see my bag. They're literally telling me like what am I doing. I'm telling them that they told me that once my phone rings to check the bag that is in front of there with the name I did what I they told me and I got yelled at for it. Why tell a customer that if you're not going to follow your...
