Sadly under new ownership as of August 2025 from what we saw in our 2 recent visits.
The previous owners were the founding family who created a unique and outstanding concept and business that they were 100% committed to keeping.
The quality, sizes and portions are already changing and not in a good way.
The service and interaction from the owners is not existing at this time. This is a huge difference as the previous owners greeted and knew their customers very well. They were empathetic, compassionate, caring and loved what they did. All of this showed in their products and quality.
In our most recent visit we were served the cheeseburger bomb platter. Unfortunately, we received about half of the hamburger meat. The cheese was the wrong type and color and over all it had very little taste and condiments. The new owners were training new people while trying to serve customers during peak ours. The soda machine was extremely dirty. The owners were drinking out of large metal containers and no one was wearing gloves.
I would encourage the new owners to be disciplined and to commit to the high quality, large portions and quick speed of the previous owners. Their client empathy is lacking.
Due to the high quality of the food and large portions this restaurant never felt expensive before. Now it immediately felt very expensive and it felt like prices were raised and quality and portion sizes went down.

The nickel-and-dimeing really gets to me.
Visit 1: Arrived 25 minutes before close. There is a sign that says "orders made within 15 minutes of closing are to go orders." I order, she hands me my food within a few minutes, and I sit down. She asks me to leave because of the sign. I would have consumed my sandwich way before they closed, but no problem, I took it to go.
Visit 2: I ordered a sub, and I did not specify a size, nor they did they ask me. A large was made and I was charged for a large. Fine, no big deal. I maybe should have insisted on small instead of expecting them to ask.
Visit 3: I ordered a steak and onions sub, and asked them to add cherry peppers, my usual order. This time, I was charged for a steak bomb, which was to include mushrooms, bbq sauce, green peppers, and onions. When I asked, because I had not been charged this way before, the rude cashier couldn't articulate herself properly and got frustrated. I paid them their extra dollar, and now they've lost a repeat customer.
Subs are alright, but be prepared to be nickel-and-dimed...

Great portions, very good sub sandwiches and made to order if you like. Great fast service but like all other things in life you pay for what you get. Not cheep but you get more than one person can eat. I recommend this sub shop it is one of the best. Addendum to review: visited yesterday Dec 2 and ordered a steak with onion and provolone salt pepper & mayo it was as good as a sub can get , yummy also a favorite antipasto salad platter it also was very good top notch place and I will be eating there again soon 5 out of 5. Update 02/4/20 have used this sub shop many times, as stated above it is top notch you get a very large, highly stuffed with 1st quality sandwich made to order served by friendly effeciant staff in a quick manor. I highly recommend you try this place and one of the best things is it is super clean....
