What I’ve shared here reflects my personal experience and is based on how I was treated during my visit. I drove over an hour to visit this pet store, only to be met with an incredibly rude and unwelcoming encounter — particularly with the owner’s mother, who clearly should not be in customer service. She questioned me aggressively, demanded to know which dog I was there to see, and seemed irritated that I didn’t have an appointment or was just having a bad day. Her tone and attitude made the whole experience feel more like an interrogation than a visit to a petshop. I felt completely unwelcome and borderline harassed. At one point, I genuinely wondered if she just didn’t like the way I looked. To top it off, you’re required to hand over your physical driver license just to enter — not scan, but literally leave it with them. This is supposedly “for the puppies’ protection,” which I understand in theory, but there are better, more secure ways to enforce safety. A camera at the entrance or an employee monitoring the door would be far more reasonable than taking and holding personal government ID. Even more frustrating is that none of this is disclosed on their website or Instagram. I only found out when I got to the door and saw a long list of rules taped to the glass — including the requirement to make a purchase before entering. If you’re going to enforce such strict and unusual policies, especially involving personal ID, those rules should be clearly posted online in your bio or homepage. I’ve included a photo of the sign for future visitors so no one else wastes their time like I did. I didn’t get to meet any dogs and therefore cannot comment on them, but based on the treatment I received, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The energy here is off — and while yes, it’s their pet store and they can make whatever rules they like, they should at least communicate them transparently and treat people with basic respect. Thank you 😊 God bless those puppies! ❣️

Amazing summer experience with my kids! We all wanted to take them all home

ONE YEAR UPDATE: Snickers is now nearly 14 lbs. He's a giant Yorkie not a mini anymore! We did a DNA test with the Embark Kit from Amazon and he is apparently 100% Yorkie but he was sold as a "mini yorkie" at Puppy City since he was so tiny at 2 months. We got him since we thought he would stay that size and wanted to travel with him but he grew 3x. Not really Puppy City's fault but choose wisely when getting pups just based on size because you never know how big they'll really get. ---- We got our first puppy from here (Snickers the mini yorkie) and we love him!! What I love about this place is that the owners genuinely care about their pups and it's an open space for the puppies to run around each other. I believe thats why my puppy is SO social even though hes small. They also have events during the holidays and sometimes the puppies can come back to say hi during those. The staff were always nice no matter how many questions we asked them. It looks like all the bad reviews about this place so far are by people who don't know how to treat people with respect in the first place or have never even been here so they are fake or just straight up hating for no legit reason. Overall, the puppy city fam deserves 5 stars for their honesty, patience, and professionalism. :)

As for your public statement. If in fact this dog (durazno now cookie) was left at your facility, Where's the photo or video of the puppy tied up on your door? That's the first thing people do is take a photo to show the whole story IF they have nothing to hide. And if you cared so much about this dog and had an attachment to her, why did you tell the new owner as soon as they told you that they had parvo to surrender the dog to the vet where she was being treated? Same way you have your so called "text messages" for proof, so does the owner of everything you have said. There is definitely a WHOLE lot you are leaving out to clean your hands from this situation. And you keep deleted comments that are not "slandering" you as you state. Only FACTS are being written and if you had nothing to hide you wouldn't delete everything. What about all your reviews from years ago stating you sold more than a handful of other dogs sick and with parvo? Were those also "rescues" ? Way too much "grey" information as you don't seem one bit sorry about what the owners are now dealing with.

I would add picture of the puppy : she is white with Merle patches. We also have a video of her struggling to breath, various videos actually. Google isn’t letting me...
