Don’t waste your time. This place is completely absurd. I had purchased a Groupon for this place for a 7-day customizable juice cleanse. I live over an hour away and am sometimes in the area for business. I figured I would purchase the 7-day cleanse and get it to take home after I’m done with my business one day. Today was the day. I arrived at this business and asked to use the restroom before I order. I was refused and told I could not use the bathroom until I made a purchase and a bathroom code would be generated on the receipt. The girl behind the counter was very unpleasant and rude when I questioned the policy. I even offered for her to hold money til I’m done and then I would order when I finished. I had to pee really bad. After going back and forth for a bit, she printed an old receipt for the code. I was not rude, just inquisitive of what seems to be a very stand offish way to deal with customers. You would think you would want to create a more welcoming environment when someone is paying $10-12 for juice. Can you imagine going into a Starbucks and being told you have to buy something before getting a code for the bathroom? After using the bathroom, I thanked her and gave her a $2 tip. At this point I attempted to order the 7-day cleanse. I was told that I couldn’t because the owner manny wasn’t there and I need to sit down with him to figure out the best juice cleanse for me and that I should start on a Monday because I would have to come back everyday for the juice. I explained to her that it wasn’t possible because I live an hour away and that I would take all the juices now. She flat out refused because the nutrients don’t last more than an hour. Seriously? Cmon! I asked her to call her boss Manny or someone that can make an executive decision in this situation. She exclaimed that she couldn’t and that I need to come back next week when he gets back. No where in the details of the Groupon offer does it explain you have to come back everyday. This is simply a deceitful tactic on the part of Manny to force a customer to come in everyday so that he can upsell them. Shame on you Manny for employing such backhanded tactics rather than just letting the product, environment and service speak for itself.
