33's Tavern — Restaurant in South River

I don’t know where to start. Half hour past my order delivery time from grubhub, I got no word on delivery. I called up the restaurant and the female bartender told me that their kitchen has been closed for good. Not only did they not close their account on grubhub, but they sent the grubhub delivery guy out of their restaurant after he arrived to pick up the food. They made no effort to call us about the order. $80 order they just got paid paid for. On top of that, the lady gave me an attitude off the bat...as if she’s been dealing with this same situation all day. There was no sense of customer service and no care to our issue. I was treated as if I did something wrong. They issued me to call her manager 8:30 Monday morning; it being 10:30 on a Friday night. That’s a whole different story. So if you’re thinking about ordering delivery from here, you certainly will not get it. I had to call grubhub and get them removed from the listing myself. Loving the calm warm welcoming vibe. I've come to learn that from Monday to Friday they do lunch specials from 12-4 PM for $8. Thankfully I made it on time for this opportunity.

Best recommend the 6 wings with fries. Have a drink like White Calw on the side. Chicken wings Flavor recommended by the bartender: The Garlic Buffalo. I truly wish I can give this more than 5 stars because this really earns 10 Stars. Nice size wings to enjoy, I did have to wait for almost 30 minutes but it was very well worth it because The way how it was cooked And prepared was with patience and passion .My compliments to the chef. If you love the taste of garlic and a kick of spice, go for it!

I love how the atmosphere is very simple, casual and not too high class. I must say this will be my new favorite spot to come by again. I feel like I can relax here letting all my stress out And embrace 90 music including our generation music.

33's Tavern has slammin’ tacos and great wings! I’ve had the fish tacos multiple times before and they never disappoint. Today was the first time we got wings and they were big and juicy!
