Update: They really need to work on customer service at lunch. It would be better to allow customers to serve themselves from the buffet. The waiter allowed someone to cut me in line twice without any care in the world. I was patiently waiting quite a long time and these people were allowed to get their plates, sit at their table and still come back in line right in front of me and get more plates. Twice. I reminded the waiter that there was a line and I am in line and he didn’t care at all and didn’t say anything. I guess only come here for Sundays and holidays so you don’t have to wait for everyone to cut you in line. The service doesn’t exist at lunch at all. They left a pitcher of water at my table and never came back. No napkins, no check in, nothing. Then they let everyone cut me in line. Not worth the price to stand in line and the whole restaurant gets service before me regardless of lines.
Old review is no longer valid. Customer service is non-existent at lunch.
Excellent Filipino food! Love coming for their lunch buffet, Mother’s Day and Easter brunch buffets. The pricing is very reasonable. Currently I think $16.99 for lunch buffet and $29.99 for Sunday & holiday brunch. Check out the daily menu online because the lunch buffet menu changes daily. You get your money’s worth in lechon alone lol! Mostly traditional Filipino food, but once they had sisig alfredo pasta and it was delicious! Lunch buffet is a bit fancy because the staff serve you at the buffet line. The price did increase, but that’s everywhere in the Bay Area. The quality and AYCE buffet style is what make the price a steal. The restaurant itself is pretty and clean. I love the piano, capiz shell chandeliers and decor. I’ve had family members use this venue for their event receptions the staff was professional and the food was amazing. There is also a bar in the evenings and it’s very popular. As long as I could remember this place has been popular and well-loved. It has always had great food and a...
Read moreI'm with the band... lol well yes. We came out for my mother/father-in-laws' birthday celebration. Just so happened to be on a Wednesday that my father-in-law's band was playing, Cool Elements they play classic rock, if anyone likes the classics (who doesn't?). This place is HUGE!!!! The parents-in-laws rented out this back enclosed patio area that had a waterfall, lights, and easy access to the bar area so we could hear the band. It was a bit chilly in there but with enough bodies in there you really couldn't tell anymore. Food is meh ok, it was "banquet foods" so I'd like to try their real menu items, especially the bibingka soufflé that others keep raving about. I had a Ube Mudslide martini, sans the chocolate syrup, I believe the bartender forgot it, oh well I think I would've made it a lot richer, but overall it was still very tasty (ube ice cream, whipped cream, and Malibu rum). Hubby got a Shocktop... he said it tasted crisper/cleaner than other places...
Read moreWe visited bay area again after many years to visit old friends and enjoy buffet filipino lunch together. Wr saw their add online and tjought it would be a good place to meet up for lunch. This experience turned out to be a very stressfilul and disappointing one. The lady server was very rude and annoying, not only that she squeezed our party on the very end of the small restaurant against the wall, when we told her that it's very difficult to be seated this way, her redpose was "what do you want me to do?!" To accommodate 10 people, she squeezed us all in a table that can only accommodate 8 or less. It was very difficult for many of us to go in and out of our seats to get some food. Few people had to stand up for some individuals who needed to get up to get some food or use the restroom. If you have big group, this place is not ideal. The food wad ok not so amazing for any of us tocome back for. Whata huge...
