Sundaes The Ice Cream Place — Restaurant in South Toms River

We have been extremely disappointed the last few times we have gone to Sundaes. The scoopers have had a very weak scoops and the cones have been extremely small, barely raising past the top of the cone. I know it's Covid times, and many businesses are struggling, however, it cost $26 for four ice cream Waffle cones when my family goes there. I have no problem paying the money but, unfortunately, the cones have been so small we will not go back. I highly advise if you are looking to get what you pay for it to not go here. It has been very disappointing for us the last couple experiences we have had.

My daughter had purchased an ice cream cake for my birthday with two different hard ice cream flavors, chocolate peanut butter crunch and vanilla peanut butter crunch. It was a 7” round cake with a price tag of $35 😳. I have been enjoying these flavors for at least 25 years with no complaints as they are my favorites however, there was barely any peanut butter in either layer. This was very disappointing as I’ve never had an issue before. For the hefty price of a 7” cake, they could have at least added more peanut butter as the flavor of the ice cream states. Very disappointed in the running of the Toms River Store. Very few workers weren’t wearing masks correctly. All didn’t cover their noses. Had to wait a long time and was disgusted By the number of customers who were allowed to place their orders at the window not wearing masks. When I mentioned this to the salesgirl, she didn’t have a response. I suggested they place a sign at the window. Not going back to this store. Seems dirty and not safe health wise. I noticed other branches have signs posted that are visible to all customers. They refuse to let let anyone come up to the window if they aren’t wearing a mask. Toms River could learn from them. ...
