Mathis Plaza — Attraction in South Toms River

This is really just a little parking lot along the water that are small town of South Toms River has provided for the public. It gives a great view of the upper terminus of the Toms River where the cedar Creek enters it and flows towards the bay. There are benches, displays of antique military equipment like a submarine and a torpedo. It's a perfect place to go and sit and calm yourself down a little bit if you need to. A great place togo to at night with your self or your significant other when the ship is leaving the dock with the colors all light up it looks amazing and the fishing here is ok there is parking right next to the water so this is also a great place for winter to come...

aka "Old Shell". This place is far nicer than the old days. Great place to park with some ice cream from Sundaes. Go fishing, crabbing or just relax watching boats go by. I'm betting the old CB gang doesn't hang around there...
