Duck Donuts — Restaurant in South Whitehall Township

I'm not a big fan of donuts. My husband on the other hand is a HUGE donut lover. So today we were on our way to clean a business. That's what I do for a living. As we passed by Duck Donuts, my husband asked if we could stop in, because I was driving. I said sure, why not. After All he is helping me clean. So while we are driving into the parking lot, I asked him how many donuts should we get? One each? Half dozen? We agreed on half a dozen. We pick out our flavors. Maple bacon, French toast, coconut island bliss, sand dollar and glazed. I didn't see any donuts in trays. Like the other donut places. I also wondered why it took a little time to get our donuts. After seeing they make them FRESH to order. The clerk asked if we would like utensils to eat our donuts. We said no because you normally eat them with your fingers. I suggest getting utensils. The toppings are fresh bacon and lots of them. The warm donut melts in your mouth. It was so delicious I ate all three of my half of the half dozen. I'll worry about the scale another day. The cost for the half dozen was $9.95. DEFINITELY worth the wait and cost. We will be back. They made a donut lover out of me. I may add a scoop of ice...

I loveee loveeeeeee Duck Donuts I have no idea how other people go else where. I have been going here for years if Im feeling like having a donut I do not think twice and they always deliver great quality donuts ingredients and service!! Pre-Covid the experience was amazing Post Covid even thought it has change a bit due to the rules and regulations you can still see them making them delicious donuts 🍩 right in front of you. You can customize your own or order from the fan favorites or try a seasonal donut!! I don't know how I didn't review this place sooner because like i said is my favorite donuts place and totally worth buying from there! I have a bunch of favorites.. all cheescake flavors you got to try they are all good whuch i have most of them in this pic. Bacon donut really a savory sweet treat can never go wrong with it. The flavor and density of the donut is so good. If i eat a regular donut at another place I tend to feel bloated but never here. Treat someone special... your kids ..loved ones or even yourself here you won't...

So we were more than a little disappointed to find out that even though their menu clearly shows chocolate cake donuts I was told by an employee and the store manager that chocolate cake donuts are not available at this location. I asked if that was a franchise decision the manager could not answer that question for me Just kind of confusing. I think before you order the donuts, it should be disclosed that none of their specialty donuts were available and they do not serve chocolate cake donuts at duck donuts very disappointed. I think this is a very bad franchise move. I could not imagine this business doing well for very long But what do I know? I’ve been a business owner my entire life and just happened to graduate Antique at one of the largest culinary school in the world I think this place has a ton of potential, but unfortunately they’re doing it wrong kind of makes me wanna open up next to them. You never know good luck...
