Pizza Chef — Restaurant in Southbridge

Tonight I placed an order online two salads and two chicken finger dinners.... processed and paid for with my credit card, tip was also placed at tome of purchase. Wait time for delivery was 30-45 minutes. Order was placed and confirmation number was received.

I then waited from 5:21 until 6:40 when I decided to call to question where the order was. Phone was answered by a man who stated that they “didn’t have any paper in the fax machine” so my online orders “was never received”. He then stated that he would get the order made and out for delivery immediately and asked if I still wanted my order “my credit card had already been charged” so I said yes as it seemed as though they were making it right away and sending it out.

Over an hour later my delivery finally shows up. I asked the delivery man if he knew why it had taken so long as I was told it was being made and delivered immediately the man stated “oh I will talk to them when I get back they shouldn’t have told you they would make it right away and deliver it immediately. We deliver in the order it comes in”.

My response was well I placed my orders 2.5 hours ago so there really is no excuse.

Bourbon steak salad:

Absolutely fantastic experience at Pizza Chef! I ordered the Bourbon Steak Salad and it completely exceeded my expectations. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection - tender, flavorful, and with just the right amount of bourbon glaze that added a delicious smoky-sweet flavor without being overpowering.

The salad itself was incredibly fresh and generous in portion. The mixed greens were crisp, and I loved the combination of ingredients - the mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes, and what appeared to be feta cheese created the perfect balance of flavors and textures. Everything was beautifully presented and clearly made with care.

While Pizza Chef is known for their pizza, this salad proves they excel at much more than just Italian classics. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail really shows. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Highly recommend this place - whether you're in the mood for pizza or looking to try something different like their excellent salads. I'll definitely be back to explore more...

This place is freaking delicious. My husband and I are in from out of town, visiting family. Someone said they wanted to go to a chain restaurant in the next town over. My Hubby found this place instead on google maps. We ordered a pizza and a sub, then split both. It was so amazing. We have nothing like it back home.

The pizza: Pizza sauce is delicious. It was cooked to the perfect amount. The crust is the perfect ratio of bread to cheese.

The sub: we ordered the turkey sub. They offered to toast it but we passed. Bread was great flavor and fresh. The ingredients were basic yet the flavor hit so hard.

We already went back a second time and honestly I won’t be surprised if we go back one last time before we leave. Visit this place. They are awesome! Way better than going to a big chain restaurant. They do takeout but have a dining room as well. And lunch...
