Subway — Restaurant in Southbridge

I was very disappointed with my visit to the Southbridge store. I took my two nephews there this afternoon, we were going to purchase 3 small grinders, three waters, two bags of chips and a cookie. While cashing out I asked for two of the advertised Brave bags for the boys. I was not aware we had to order kids sized grinders or I would have but since I was purchasing more than or equal to the cost of a kids meal, I asked the man, whom I was told was the manager/owner, if I could have two bags. We had to conjole/plead with him but finally he said yes. We laughed and I listened to their choices for their bag (one wanted the female character and the other wanted the father character). The young female employee brought us back one bag, so I told her the character choice of my younger nephew, and she looked up at the manager/owner. Now he did say "one" but I thought he was indicating one for each child, while joking back at me about giving me one as well. However when the young female employee went to get the second bag, the manager/owner said no! At first I was confused and when he clarified just one, I purchased the sandwiches as they had been prepared for us but we put back the chips, the water and the dessert. I told him I would not be back. Who does this to children? Especially since I had purchased equivalent amounts or more than the kids meals cost? I will never back on principle alone and I don't recommend anyone else go there if you are seeking good customer service. Additionally I gave a poor quality score because my wheat bread...

They don’t accept coupons in store but they won’t tell you that the Subway App allows the coupons to be accepted at any location. They let us know as we were paying that they don’t accept coupons in store even though we had the coupons out when ordering so that we didn’t get the ones that the coupons won’t cover. It made me wonder if they did it on purpose so we had to pay full price since we ordered at lunch time and were hungry. I’ve been using the coupons through the Subway App so that I am able to use the coupons at this store. And the workers never seem happy when we come in the pick up our order. It seems like a trend from other reviews too that the workers don’t seem happy there. So maybe it’s not just that they’re upset I’m able to use the coupons they don’t accept in store? Maybe they’re just unhappy there too? The sandwiches are average. I’ve had the same thing in other locations so it’s not like there’s anything new happening there. It’s just the coupons not being accepted in store and the unhappy vibes that...

This disgusting Subway,is so cheap,they can't put the air conditioning,for there customers! They have tables in there why? For show? Nobody would want to eat there sandwich,under,such conditions. Further more,it's supposed to be known,for cold food,yet,it's hot and sticky,like the outside, walking in,so how do the meats, cheese's and vegetables taste? On top of,surprisingly,they don't cover the meats or cheeses! They play Christian music,to justify what there doing in some way but they just put it on for show, obviously!
