I have never not given a tip in my life. Today, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. The bar tender was completely unintested in providing any kind of service. I honestly don't think she a wanted us there, no greeting when we arrived, all we got was a glance and a look away. No service for about two minutes. Finally she asks us what we want, mind you not a how can I help, a what are you drinking? No, quite literally "what do you want?'
Now it would be something if she was acting this way to all patrons present, but she was extremely friendly to both people sitting beside us at the bar and a few others. I don't know what it was about us specifically, but one can't help to feel discriminated as a minority. This is also a feeling I have never felt in 43 years of being alive in the USA. It felt awkward, and just plain wrong. I didn't walk out because my wife and I rarely get a date night and I didn't want it ruined by her behavior. It sucks, we finally got a date nightt, and I wouldn't say tuined, because my wife is the best company, but it was a bit of damper on our date.
Either way, I really wanted to like this place but I will never, I mean ever go back to this place at all. I don't recommend. All because of the bar...
Read moreIt saddens me to give this low of a review. The first time we ordered from Broadstreet via DoorDash on 01/13/21 it was the best experience ever!!! Ordered the chicken Philly and it was indulgent. The chicken was super moist. The vegetable were sautéed nicely. The cheese was super melty and nicely distributed. Even the lite garlic buttery toasting of the bun added a surprising depth of flavor to the sandwich. It was so enjoyable that I ordered it again today. But TODAY....smh The chicken was dry and charred. The vegetables were slightly burnt. The bread was only toasted on the outside so all of the grease soaked into the bread. The cheese was so undetectable that I added Mayo to my sandwich just to choke it down. Whoever was cooking on the 13th should get a raise and retrain whoever is cooking today. Two TOTALLY different experiences which has lead my tastebuds to be weary about the...
Read moreI decided it was time to find my new local watering hole post COVID. After reading many reviews I tried the 715. It is a very nice dive bar populated by locals, exactly what I was looking for. I've been there maybe a half dozen times and every single time I have been greeted warmly by the staff and the clientele. Of course it's probably because my dog attracted attention😁. The place is dog friendly inside and out and I do mean FRIENDLY. Those people love dogs. There are pool and darts and live bands for your entertainment. This past Saturday they did a fundraiser for three regulars who are battling cancer. The food is well above average bar fare and they have weekday specials. The draft beer is always nice and cold. I just wish they had a bigger selection but that's a minor complaint. This is now my regular watering hole. So if you decide to visit, be nice and don't...
