There’s a certain energy about Red’s Corner in Southern Pines that you feel the moment you step onto the grounds. It isn’t just a food truck park, it’s a community space alive with laughter, music, and the aroma of food that tells stories of both tradition and creativity. The beer lines stay long, yet no one seems to mind. The bartenders move tirelessly with a smile, and the hum of conversation creates a rhythm that belongs entirely to this place.
The food trucks themselves are the heart of it all. From smoky barbecue to hand-tossed pizzas and sweet, simple ice cream, each vendor brings a piece of their soul to the table. You can taste it in every bite, the pride, the long hours, the unshakable belief that good food has the power to bring people together. Even the smallest details, like a family-run BBQ truck serving brisket with a sauce crafted for Memphis palettes, remind you that here, flavor is both heritage and innovation.
What makes Red’s Corner remarkable isn’t just the food or the drinks, it’s the people. Owners who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, staff who hustle with genuine warmth, and guests who linger a little longer than they planned. It’s a gathering place that honors the past while creating new memories every evening.
Red’s Corner isn’t simply a stop for dinner, it’s a reminder that community is best built at shared tables, over full plates, and with grateful...
Read moreRed’s corner is a super cute, outdoor, food truck venue that has something for everyone. There’s lots of seating options, a play area for kids, bar for adults and dog friendly. The food trucks vary from types of cuisine from Greek, Italian, and sweet treats. The trucks aren’t always the same either so check the website to see which trucks will be there on a given day if you want something specific. There is even regular live music which really adds to the wonderful atmosphere. The only knock I have is not on the venue but some of the trucks themselves. You’ll find that some trucks charge a lot for very little food. I found this to be true with street tacos I had, which had very little meat and little flavor. But the prices are mostly manageable. My friends and I have used the method of looking around what other people’s plates looked like and got food from there lol. Whatever your tastes, Red’s Corner I think will truly satisfy any palate. I highly recommend to anyone for a fun,...
Read moreThis review is about a specific truck not Red’s in general…Very interesting place however we didn’t check the schedule and when we arrived Grinders & Gravy was closed and the gyro truck was gone. The options today were limited but we went with Grill Me Up. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich and I had the bison burger. After waiting 25 mins the food arrived. I know food truck service is not fast food but 25 mins!!!…one guy next to me had been waiting 45 mins…ok on to the food…The chicken sandwich was drenched/soaked in a sirrachi sauce that made the brioche bun soggy and falling apart. Taste was ok but The hot and spicy chicken sandwich at chick filet has it beat for 1/2 the cost. The bison burger was good certainly better the fried chicken. In order to know how something will be you do have to try it…as I said this was not what we wanted but we tried it once and won’t ever again. Next time we will research what trucks are there before planning a...
