Route 66 Mother Road Diner — Restaurant in Southern View

The owner of the establishment is a complete narcissistic mentally unstable awful business owner. Let me give you some feed back. A while ago the owner (snoop) decided he was going to open the diner 7 days a week and stood by the fact that he would work any shift that needed covered. That lasted a very short time. After he got done with doing his job (all the time) he would force people to work for him. In the hotel, people are able to have a bed while they work, he would hold that over people's head in a roundabout way of he'll kick you out if you don't work. When I say he is emotionally unstable I mean it. There would be rumors that would float around there "snoops in a mood guys, hes getting ready to fire someone". 9/10 it would happen. The workers themselves are amazing people, but anyone under snoop (Jason) were also completely terrible people. There is so much that goes on in that restaurant that it's amazing that snoop even has employees. Well to be fair he'll only hire people to work if they live there so it will be easier to manipulate them into doing his work. Also, there is a big infestation of bed bugs that they refuse to get rid of because snoop simply does not care. In his mind, if he is making money or profit there is no need to spend extra money. The business is awful truly. I recommend if you ever think about going there, just do it for the food. Be careful of the bed bugs, and never take an offer to work there. Snoop will use you and manipulate you untill he feels he's done and...

I wrote $3.50 as a tip for our $23.49 breakfast on 9/28/2023 7:13 and I wrote the the total amount $26.99 on the paper.

It turns out that they charged $58.49 to my card instead of $26.99. (So the tip must be overcharged to $35.00 instead of $3.50)

I can't believe this.

The daily specials are dinner only, which isn't listed anywhere on their website or advertised anywhere else. The waitress was extremely slow. Kitchen was slow. We had to get it to go because of that. We had to get it to go, so our food was cold when we got back to work. We won't be back and will make sure to let everyone we work with know not to go.

UPDATE: My husband and I both got sick from the food, so we would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone. If I could give it 0...
