Amexicana (Amigos) — Restaurant in Southgate

Service was friendly but the good tasted like overpriced Taco Bell. The enchilada sauce tasted like red sauce out of a can. The burritos were just overly smothered in cheese and The taco shells were almost just like Taco Bell or store bought. They were loaded up with a lot of cheddar cheese I had to take it off. I been coming here for a bit, was always excellent... especially since i drive 25 mintues to get this food.Went today and it was HORRIBLE i got the the enchiladas dinner the beans was either old or burnt, didnt taste good at all. Then the beef was not cook all the way thur out the enchiladas the beef was pink. Only thing that was good was the chips and sauce.. then i order flour chips lightly crisp, how about they was soggy.. i hate giving this review but for 33 dollar to just toss in...

Sooo good! Seriously if you haven’t tried them yet, what are you waiting for? Exact same food and taste as the original amigos restaurant we all know and love.. the chips and smooth salsa are my favorite(I hate chunky salsa) and the tamale dinner always hits the spot. My husband ordered the Mexican pizza and as always, didn’t disappoint. I hope they stay here, it’s so nice having an amigos 2 minutes up the street.. will definitely be back...
