Arby's — Restaurant in Southgate

2 Drive-thru lanes for orders... Horrible setup. Very inefficient. If you're in the left lane- you have to see if the driver in the right lane is gonna be courteous enough to let you in front of them to pay, due to the fact that you'll be blocked in . My last visit there, I was in the left lane with no other customers. I hear "Welcome to Arby's, go ahead with your order when ready"... I give my order and nothing... Meanwhile 3-4 cars pull in and lineup in the right lane and give their orders. I see them continue on to the window. (I'm saying Hello? to the speaker like a fool), still nothing. People behind me reverse to go into the right lane... And are able to give their order and proceed. I'm stuck. Other people think I'm the problem. I was fuming. I ripped out of there like a madman. Love the food but and I will go back... Just not ever in the left lane ......

I do not live Downriver, but I do come to town at least once a week to take my grandmother to lunch. Today she choose Arby’s so I stopped by the drive thru of this location. The cashier was SO nice. She noticed that my dog was excitedly sitting with his head out the window of the car, and said she had a prize for him when we got to the window. She packaged up a couple of dog treats for me to share with him. My dog thinks (or hopes) every drive thru is a Starbucks so it was a really nice surprise to be able to give him a treat. Our order was out quickly and our meals were both delicious. Grandma tried the brisket sandwich for the first time and loved it! Even though everyone is short staffed, the staff here is always friendly and you never have...

We don't eat at Arby's a ton. With a large family it can be pricey. But that's not even the problem. My son and I was the other night to pick up dinner and because we don't go a lot we had some questions. The woman taking our order was full of huffs and puffs like we were really bothering her. Then to boot after order 45.00 of food for 4 people the entire order was messed up and the fries were so hard we couldn't even eat them. I pulled to the window and watched her with the same attitude to the car behind me as she took their order. Ridiculous!! What happened to friendly customer service?? Needless to say I was going to call the next day about our order and had forgotten because we were busy with a funeral. So I figured I'd just...
