Blend Healthy Spot — Restaurant in Southington

I cannot recommend Blend enough. The amount of effort that they put into building their store can definitely be seen with the new flooring, trendy decor, and nice seating areas. The menu is broken up into three parts: protein shakes, juice-like drinks, and protein foods. The shakes have been great every time I’ve gotten one, including fruity pebbles, peanut butter banana, and tres leche. The juice was also extremely refreshing after a workout and tasted like a rocket popsicle. Carlos who runs the store is always so friendly and happy to recommend items, along with his wife who always remembers her customers. Their cousin who works there is great and really understands what to order after a workout. I really hope more people experience Blend since it’s such a hidden gem in Southington. Located in Southington, CT, right off the highway. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners Carlos and his lovely wife Melissa. They have a comfy waiting area where you can sit and play a game of tic tac toe as you wait for your treat. They also have an area where you can sit and enjoy your treat also.

I ended up getting a fruit bowl that consists of blueberry, strawberry, kiwi, granola, going berries, toasted coconuts, hemp seeds, and Nutella It was delicious. The bowl was also bigger than I was used to, which was a huge plus.

The store is conveniently located by I-84, Stop n Shop, gas station, restaurants, and more. There is ample parking, either in front of the store or next door. It's handicap accessible as there is one level. Overall, it was a great experience and will go back...

This is my second five star review of the month. If you know anything about my reviews, you know that I’m pretty strict with how I review my food choices. Was going by this place at 6:30 AM and greeted with a very kind and happy person.The manager or owner was super friendly with me, explained everything to me and even gave me a few toppings on the house because it was my first time. I got an açai bowl that knocked my socks off. It was full of great granola and seeds and peanut butter. I couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast. And top it all off. They had great strong coffee. I’m super happy with the experience I had at blend healthy spot. I will definitely highly recommend this to anyone that’s looking for a great healthy alternative...
