For starters, when walking in, the staff at the front desk had a very poor standoffish demeanor, and looked miserable, like they didn't want to be there or help anyone. From that point forward, I should've known this was going to be a terrible visit & should've just left.
I was there for my daughter, who had a pretty bad cough & she probably needed antibiotics. After the staff at the desk checked us in, the nurse brought us into a room a couple of minutes later. Both the nurse & the APRN that saw my daughter, we're both very cold & not very sympathetic at all towards her, let alone having no personality or good beside manners. Even when the APRN asked me a question & I asked her what she meant, she reworded the question, but with an attitude, like I was inconveniencing her. The APRN then did the basic check of my daughter, and I say basic, because she didn't even do a strep test, flu test or even a Covid test. Then she proceed to prescribe a steroid & then something for her cough.
Well, neither if those prescriptions were needed, being that the one she prescribed for her "cough", was equivalent to that of a cough/sore throat lozenge. And the steroid definitely wasn't needed. And that's because, when my daughter was brought to her normal doctor's office today by her mother, as she was concerned nothing was getting better, the PA did what should've been done at the walk-in clinic & done a freaking strep test, because low & behold, my daughter has strep. And the PA prescribed her antibiotics, like she should've also been prescribed & not a steroid & the other one for her cough.
Needless to say, this is the 1st, last & only time I'm ever going to this location. I will gladly drive further out of my way, if there's better service & bedside manners at another location. And where the staff actually act like they want to be there & not...
Read moreThis was the worst walk-in clinic Iâve ever been to! The NP/PA Paul had the worst bedside manner and was out right rude! Saturday prior to Christmas I went in with a very sore throat, throbbing sinuses and my ears hurt. I waited for about 15 to 20 min in the exam room (to be clear I was the only patient in the entire office at the time). He looked in my ears and throat and said I was fine. He said âI can tell by the look on your face you donât believe me when I say you do not have strep or an ear infectionâ!!!!! He perceived Allegra-D and sent me on my way. First thing Monday morning I had a call into my PCP because I could just about lift my head off the pillow! I had a sinus and ear infection was put on 10 days of antibiotics and given a decongestion/nasal spray. So had I been on the antibiotics 2 days earlier, it would have been a wonderful Christmas but thanks to Paul, I was so miserable and stuff up and could barely breath with a continuous hacking cough. My advice would be go to any other...
Read moreThe doctor at this location was so rude to me when I came in for my visit. He gas lit me into thinking the symptoms I had were not a concern and did not want to test me for COVID or the Flu. I didnât understand why we wouldnât just test it to rule it out as the symptoms I was showing were very much so aligned to either illness. After demanding a test for both, it turned out I had Flu A. Again, even after getting my positive result, he was not interested in treating it further and told me I just needed to drink water and completely dismissed my concerns. He was not empathetic and made me feel stupid for coming in to their office. I was just trying to be safe and get the right tests I need to make sure I can further protect myself and others around me. Iâm extremely disappointed with my visit and do not recommend this location or doctor to anyone...
