We enjoyed lunch at this popular local coffee and sandwich shop with a lovely shaded outdoor courtyard.

Order at the counter inside and choose a bag of chips or a banana with your sandwich on your way out to your table. They'll bring your order to you.

We ordered the Chipotle Jack, which brought the heat in the best way on the most amazing fresh baguette.

Our second sandwich was the Sweet Daddy's, since it's their number one best selling sandwich.

The cranberry walnut chicken salad was perfectly made with very light mayo. The only disappointing thing was the menu said it was served on a lightly grilled pretzel bun, but it wasn't grilled. I would've chosen a wrap had I known.

The setting is wonderful and I definitely want to return for Sunday brunch with live music and mimosas.

Don't be confused - this is not a sit-down coffee shop! This is a tiny building with two drive-thru/walk-up windows where you can order your coffee or other beverages. It's located just outside of downtown Southport, but is not in downtown.

That all being said - I love this place. The employees here are always super nice at any time of day, they always get my order right, and I am always delighted by my drink.

I typically go for a decaf cappuccino with oat milk, but my daughters and son-in-law like the chai tea lattes, cold brew, and flavored coffee specials. My daughter raved about their bonfire s'mores cold...

Maybe I should’ve paid attention to the reviews a little better. Steer clear of the Frappes. Another review said the same thing, they taste like a snow cone. To be honest McDonald’s is better. Mine should at least taste like chocolate or raspberry considering I got a mocha raspberry, but it tastes like ice. No coffee flavor whatsoever. (Drive...
