Beautifully decorated and very clean including the bathroom. Food is fresh and a generous menu. The process to order is fair. A line is formed to place your order with the cashier, but the problem my husband and I discovered was the menu doesn't indicate the seasonings that are utilized. I was going to order the rice bowl and select tofu instead of the chicken and pork. I mentioned I could not have hot spices and was informed spices are utilized apart from salt and black pepper. So at the register with only one line and one cashier to order from, I made some adjustments while customers were waiting. .y husband ordered the rice bowl and selected chicken and he wasn't concerned if black pepper, paprika etc was utilized bc he can handle spices. After one taste of the chicken and healthy sides that are part of the rice bowl receipe, he could not eat the chicken or healthy and delicious looking vegetables because it eas too HOT! He said, "the curry seasoning was substantial." He didn't complain or voice his grievance. He just ate the eggs and rice and the extra money he paid for the chicken was left untouched after the first bite. My complaints are to list the food appropriately. It should have read spicy chicken or Asia style prepared or have a spices symbol next to the order. It is unfair to the customers waiting on the line for the person in front ordering to have to ask several questions and for a first timer to the restaurant to have a meal that tmfidnt indicate was prepared with an...

Great addition to Southwest Harbor! They always remember their customers. Food is innovative, fresh and tasty. Fair prices. One of my favorite places. They actually know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino! I love their cappuccino, scones and classic eggs Benedict!

I once gave a 5 star review but unfortunately their hours open are completely unreliable. Don't trust their website hours. The phone message is never updated. The cafe is so excellent that we drove from Blue Hill only to discover that it was closed three times the website said it was open.

I just don't understand why the cafe can be so beautiful with such great food and yet the owners and management are completely indifferent to their customers.

Management needs to align their business strategy to remain sustainable. We need your excellence but we need 100% reliability in food and service. Be open when you say you are open. It is pretty easy to step back up to being 5 stars. Making great food is challenging but you are great chefs. Showing up on time is not hard. You can do this. If you don't people will stop coming and we will lose...

Went to this quaint spot for two breakfasts in a row!! First time, we had the Turkish Eggs which were delectable and probably the best Turkish Eggs I have had to date. We also had the mini fruit tart and Blueberry Bagel with Plain Cream cheese which were both great. Special shout out for the salad that accompanied the bagel; it was a simple Mediterranean style salad that was scrumptious.

Second time, we tried the Shakshuka (highly recommend!) and Veggie Eggs Benedict, which were good.

The servers were kind and welcoming. The cappuccino was great, too!

If I were living within a 1-hr driving distance of this place, I would go here every weekend. :) Highly recommend trying this place if you are...

It was lovely! The Turkish eggs had a lot of flavor. I wish I would have ordered avocado as a side but they were wonderful as is. The Dutch baby was also very balanced and good. Lastly, lattes were perfect and not too sweet. When we arrived it was a line out the door and we were still able to sit inside with maybe a 15 minute wait. The staff was all kind and on top of clearing tables quickly. Honestly you’re missing out if you don’t eat here. Much better breakfast than a lot of the options we had in bar harbor! Also worth mentioning how clean everything was despite the bustle. Not a single dusty corner, dirty fork, etc. I was thoroughly impressed.

We LOVED this place! Southwest Harbor and Clark Point Cafe are truly the hidden gems of Acadia - it's much quieter and more peaceful away from the tourists, with all the same charm. Food in downtown Bar Harbor was mediocre at best, but the breakfast we had here was DELICIOUS - the dishes were fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and definitely made with love. We got the eggs benedict and the blueberry dutch baby pancake. The employees were extremely warm and personable, and a pleasure to speak to. We learned this is their first season open as a restaurant, and hope it stays for many seasons to come! Will definitely be back.
