We were referred to this sports bar several years ago for their chicken wings, small bar atmosphere and lots of tv’s. We finally made it there this trip and they did not disappoint. Wings (Bourbon BBQ/Garlic Teriyaki), fries, taco salad and salted caramel cheesecake were all delicious! Oh, did I mention Ernie the new bartender. He made me a pickle-tini (his first one). He totally rocked it!! So I had another. 😋 Renee (the owner) was very pleasant and you can tell she does what she loves. Thank you Renee and Ernie. We will see you next year!

Needed a place to watch some sports after visiting the most over hyped landmark on the island (bass harbor light house). NLSL covered all the bases, plenty of TVs. Plenty of local feel, AMAZING FOOD. Good choice of both craft and regular beers. My wings were the bourbon bbq...and maybe top 10 wings I've ever had. My buddy had the garlic parm wings and he said they were fantastic and plenty to fill you up with house made sauces.

As out of towners we could tell that this was the local spot to be, in a good way! Our server was fantastic! The drinks were delicious, and so was the food! We’d definitely come back! Even thought we we’re from out of town they treated us no different!

I walked in to a fairly empty establishment, maybe 7 total guests other than myself and my significant other, took us a couple minutes to even be acknowledged. We were walked to a dirty table (even though there were at least 3 other clean ones) and instructed to hold the menus while the server cleaned the table, which isnt necessarily top tier service. The server also seemed to be a bit drunk or otherwise inebriated throughout the whole service. We were not given drink menus to start and when they were given to us, we were immediately asked to order drinks, as if we had even 1 second to look over the options. The drinks delivered to us were entirely tasteless and seemed to be completely devoid of any alcohol whatsoever. We ordered a burger, which was over cooked and frankly sucked, fries were cold and tasted stale.. only thing that didnt taste bad were the chicken tenders, which were still not great. Had to wait excessively long for the food despite how slow the establishment was and how simple the order was. The food was not even on par with McDonalds and the drinks had no taste and little to no alcohol. Extremely disappointing. Also not too sure if we were given an old food menu or what, but on the menu the burger was listed for less than what were charged (we ordered it as it comes, no additions or modifications.) That shows a crazy lack of integrity that leaves a bad taste in my mouth worse than the food did. Having TVs and a foosball table doesn't make up for the poor quality food and service.. the value isn't there. Do not waste your time...

I’ve never felt compelled to write a bad review for a restaurant/bar since I work in the industry and have for 10+ years. This was hands down, the worst experience I’ve ever had and only came for a night cap after a really enjoyable dinner at a friends restaurant.

I ordered a blueberry habanero margarita. I was basically given a bottle of blueberry hot sauce on ice. Immediately turned my stomach to the point where I went to the bathroom to drink the tap water because with the service we experienced, it would’ve taken 20 minutes for an ice water. When my partner asked for a different drink her immediate response was “well we’re not taking it off the bill” in which neither of us would’ve expected that anyways. We honestly tried to keep it low key and polite, and my boyfriend just asked for a new drink I quickly read on their menu while I went to the bathroom. She treated him with borderline disrespect and made him feel idiotic for asking for a drink listed on their menu stating the menu’s from when they first opened.

Honestly, I’d rather give my hard earned money to anyone else in this town. What a disappointing experience after walking away from an overly great experience at a nearby restaurant. This place put a damper on our otherwise,...

Terrible service and false accusations

My boyfriend and I came in and unfortunately had one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We were there for over an hour, were only checked on twice, and waited more than 15 minutes just to get our bill.

Since no one came back, we added up what we genuinely thought covered our bill and left cash on the table, including a tip. We were even still in the parking lot for a while, and no one came out to say anything. We also walked right by the workers to leave no one batted an eye or even told us to have a good day.

We later saw that the restaurant publicly posted accusing us of “dining and dashing,” which is absolutely untrue. When we found out we were maybe $5 short, we called right away and offered to pay the difference, but they still haven’t taken the post down and even tried to make our bill look bigger than it was.

It’s really disappointing to see a place treat paying customers like this instead of owning up to bad service. We had no bad intentions at all — we were just ready to leave after being ignored...
