When we are customers, we are often at the moment when the dishes are provided in front of your eyes, then you can find out whether the owner of the restaurant is afraid to provide you with too many good ingredients, and then the owner of the restaurant can't make money. And this operator is generous and gives enough, like a mother who is afraid that her children will not be full. is a 100% Thai chef. The restaurant that Americans like to taste is run by mother and son. The children told me enthusiastically that they will move to a nearby shopping mall in the future. When the venue is bigger, there will be more There are so many dishes, it must be in this container house, narrow and hot, and there is no one at night, so they pretended to be very early. It can be seen very delicious in the picture. I don't need to say more.

Don't let the slightly above average wait times deter you here: this is some of the best pad Thai you'll ever try if you like authentic, complex (read:not-overly-westernized) Thai food. Service was friendly and we had food in about 15 minutes after being quoted 20-25. The flavors are not the usual Saturday-night-Thai made by a college student named Chad. This is the real deal and absolutely worth a visit.

Chicken Pad Thai and a Spicy Curry! Tasted wonderfully delicious! Getting to chat with Boom about Thailand, her son was also working with her, shy and friendly. Boom was great! Very chatty, listened to my Thailand travel stories. Her personality elevated my experience. I’m looking forward to coming back and chatting with her again.

I recently visited Boom's Thai Kitchen new location inside Piggly Wiggly in Fairhope, AL., and my experience was a mixed bag. The food was good, but it didn't quite reach the level of greatness or excellence. The flavors were there, but there was nothing particularly memorable about the dishes.

The service, on the other hand, was commendable. The owner/cook was very accommodating and even offered to cook personalized meals, which took about 20 minutes. However, there were some issues that impacted my overall experience. I noticed old food sitting on the service line, which was off-putting. Additionally, after receiving my ordered items, there were no instructions provided on what to do next. This lack of clear direction left me feeling a bit confused.

Another inconvenience was the payment process. As a customer, you're unable to pay at the food station; instead, you need to check out at the cashier. This added step could be streamlined to enhance the customer experience.

Overall, while the service was friendly and the food was decent, the missing processes and lack of clarity detracted from my visit. Boom's Thai Kitchen has potential, but there are some areas that need...

Running a restaurant at the Fort Container park must be like playing a video game with your lifesavings at stake on hard-mode. The Container park is like a reverse Field of Dreams despite having a ton of potential. Restaurants here seem to flail and fail through a combination of crappy south Alabama weather and inconsistent hours. How many times have we finished the old "I dunno what do YOU want for dinner?" ritual to finally land on a choice located at The Fort only to find they are closed? Very frustrating.

In the back of the container park nearest the road, Boom's Thai Kitchen has been the rare exception. The owner is a dogged hard worker managing to keep consistent hours despite the challenges that come operating a restaurant in this location. The food is always delicious and they are always very-very friendly. The portions are large and everything on the menu that we've tried is fantastic on site; travels well in To-Go scenarios.

Try the spicy coconut shrimp with your choice of protein or the curry with a mixture of spices and sweet pineapple. Try the hand-rolled Boom rolls and their homemade chili sauces. Try it all, these...
