The American Classic!!! A&W and the only one in town, Location is very easy to find, across the street from the High School and in the same Plaza as Smith's. Plenty of Parking, even during lunch time, Drive Thru looked swamped and can tale several minutes of waiting! I decided to Dine-In, the place overall is pretty clean, The staff are very friendly and y hablar espanol tambien! I haven't been to an A&W in years, and I arrived here, hungry and craving a full decent meal, complete with a Large Classic Root Beer Float!! I also ordered a Spicy Double or Papa with Chili Cheese Fries, The Float was made like if it was in a commercial! after you order and take a seat, The ladies remembered my order and when it was done they served it right to me!!! I enjoy drinking the Root Beer First before eating the Vanilla Ice cream, the staff noticed and they come around and ask you if you want more Root Beer!!! On the house!!! Prices are decent and respectable for American Fast Food, I couldnt eat it all I was so satisfied and stuffed! I walked out Content and smiling, a great experience for Dine-In! Word of advice, Drive Thru can take awhile so be prepared for a wait! Otherwise I will visiting again as this is my favorite place for a geniune A&W Root Beer Float!!! We eat here every couple months. Food is consistently good and restaurant is clean.

We came in for ice cream today. I had a buy one get one free root beer float coupon. I asked if we could buy a root beer freeze and get a float free (float is cheaper than a freeze). The cashier said she did not think so but would ask her manager. She told me no without seeming to ask. I asked her to please ask her manager.

The manager lacked enough courtesy to come talk to me. Instead she just told me from across the restaurant from the garbage can where she was emptying garbage that she heard the question over her headset. She said "we follow coupons exactly."

They would have actually made a little more profit if I bought a freeze and got a float free and kept a happy customer. If it is their "policy" to take a coupon exactly as indicated that is their prerogative. The manager should have had enough courtesy to walk over and talk to me though face to face though.

Common sense and going beyond with customer service goes along ways with keeping happy customers that return over and over which keeps a business going in good times...

I went with the family got over charged with all these extra fees my kids went up to get a ice cream and was over charged so I asked to talk to a manager she told me all these (lies) to call the owner in the morning to take care of this I have been calling for weeks now no answer she said that is there policy nothing she could do about it (lies) charging Sunday prices for a cone is just not right an to take advantage of kids like that (wrong) an than all these extra fees worst customer service I have ever gotten she just did not care and had the I do not care additude I work in the food business so I know just be understanding we are locals an have been coming here for ever but to be treated this badly we will not be back food is great but costumer service is a 0 shame on A&W for treating there costumers...
