L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Sparks

We just ordered a short ribs today and when we got home we got a bbq beef. We called and talked to tory (the guy who took the order) and told him that we got a wrong order. He insisted my husband ordered bbq beef not short ribs. Why are we going to order food that we dont like? So my husband told him - No you gave us a wrong order but Tory still insisting that we ordered the bbq beef. We asked to speak to a manager but he said The manager is not around. My husband asked the name of the manager , Tory Said he is not in liberty to tell us the name? Funny ha! He said we can bring the food back and he will give us 25% off to get the short ribs (can you believe that). 25% off for the mistake he did and he cant admit that he made a mistake. Next time check your orders before you leave...

We had to stop because our tires popped on our way back home. We had been driving all day. Tired and hungry I decided to call in. My dog just had orthopedic surgery and I couldn’t leave her alone in the car. I asked the person who answered the phone if they could bring the food out to me. I didn’t want to be that lady that brought her dog in. The gentleman was so nice and said absolutely without hesitation. The food was ready fast. I wish I would have gotten his name. I just want to say thank you to who brought the food out to me today March 1,2022 around 5:20 PM while it might have been a simple small act it was very much appreciated! The food was delicious too! I’ve been to many L&L’s as we are from Northern California and the quality is one of the best I’ve had!...

I love visiting L&L as I think they are a good chain but I had multiple issues at this location. First, there was quite a wait for my food in excess of 15 minutes. My group had finished eating before I had received my food. I went up to the counter and my food was still on a tray in the back. I waited for a few more minutes until she told me she would get my food to me. Second was quality, I ordered the Chicken Katsu which looks like it was cut up haphazardly and thrown into the tray and finally there was the rice. In my life I have messed up and added too much water before....this was terrifyingly bad goopy sludgy mess of rice that was way worse then anything I've ever done. I wanted to return it back but didn't want to wait another 15 minutes....I only have a 30...
