Let me start by saying pre sale and remodel, this place was amazing. Since it has reopened under new ownership, it's is a sad, disappointing experience. The food used to be amazing now the portions are small, the food is inconsistent. Half the "cooked" food is chewy and has the texture of something fresh out of the microwave. 90% of the time they are out of common drinks like CoorsLight products, whiteclaws and other common, popular drinks by Tuesday.

Suffice to say, the current owners need to sell to someone who is going to bring Lucky's back to its former glory or step up. The service is a revolving door of new faces and they try, however you can tell, they aren't happy about working here. You get used to a server and within 2 months they are gone and it is another new person. That tells you a lot about the new owners. We walked in and were seated quickly, it was the start of the day and this place was open. Upon our entry we were greeted warmly and sat down at a table.

I came here because this is the best spanakopita you can ever go for. And today my youngling also tried it as well as the best Mediterranean tacos ever!! (Gyro)

But, in all seriousness, this place has good food and when it comes to night time, it’s a great place to kick back with a beer and enjoy the bar snacks.

We also had the sampler and okay the grape leaf wraps he wasn’t a fan of. But I did and we feasted like kings.

Great first impression! This was our first time in since it changed hands…love the new look and feel! Everything is a little brighter and a lot nicer. Abby was our server and she was terrific. We split Tempe Buffalo cauliflower “wings” which is something I love but these were my favorite I’ve ever had anywhere. My husband got a gyro and I had the fish tacos…everything was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Edit: I came back the next day for more cauliflower “wings” but I came alone so I didn’t have to share them.
