Does anyone know what happened to super burrito??? I have been going here for almost 10 years, servants are usually large and the quality of the food is usually exceptionally good and the prices are fair. They raise the prices over a year ago by about 35% which is a crazy raise at one time, I dealt with it because serving sizes were good food was good. I have been at super burrito in Sparks three times in the last 5 weeks. I did notice that they were training a lot of new people I only recognized one person that was original. "Whatever"! During lunch I normally order the supernachos and the last two times that I've ordered it it is only about 60% of the serving size. Used to be that it was difficult to finish the meal but when you pay $12 you expect that. Last two times that I ordered and also ordered for my manager it had very small amounts of meat, The only sour cream and guacamole on each side would cover two chips and even the refried beans and cheese was reduced severely. Last time I ordered two of these I asked for jalapenos and there were none. And both of these super nachos only had about five pieces of meat. $12 ridiculous. Also just today I spent about $50 and I ordered a full week supply of burritos which I do on normal bases maybe every 2 to 3 weeks. I have a scale at my home and I actually scale the food in the places that I really like. Normally they come up at 2 lb or a little bit more today, All of them are coming up with about 1 lb. The highest one I got was 1.25 lb. One of the big reasons why I order from here is because one burrito will fill you up and with sales tax you're paying around $10 Now you basically have to order two to get the same thing. If I want to go that route I might as well spend $15 or $16 at Taco Bell because that will also get me a full meal. I don't know what happened to this place but seeing the trend for over one month now has convinced me that this must become more normality. I will only give super burrito one more chance and that's it. Once I feel that I'm getting ripped off or screwed I just never return!! Even del Taco has a menu which is two for $7 and they guarantee you 1 lb burritos. That's cheaper than super burrito right now. I basically stop going to jimboy's tacos because they also reduce the size of their servants but I hate to say this they are actually a better deal than super burrito right now I can actually get a full supper for $12 and it's flavorful. There is another Mexican restaurant that I will order bean and cheese burritos from for $7 and they weigh out at 2.25 lbs per burrito. They're beans are more flavorful than super burrito and I guarantee you you are completely stuffed. I'm sorry I don't know what's going on with super burrito but if you're going to act more like Taco Bell then I will take my business elsewhere. So before I posted this I was looking at a lot of the one and two star reviews and unfortunately many of them are saying the same thing as me however most of them are over one month old so maybe this has been going on longer than I thought and I was just lucky and was still getting normal servant sizes once in a while. I hope you guys get back to normal. Another thing is that I asked how much extra cheese was and I was told $1.15!!! Come on now what are we talking about an extra tablespoon of cheese really?? The place that I order my bean and cheese burritos for $7.15 that way 2.25 lb or more they only charge $0.65 for extra cheese. Let's not turn into one of these chain restaurants. So in the photos you can see the weight on some of these burritos that I spent about $50 for. They used to be over 2 lb each now I'm barely breaking 1 lb and if you look at one of them it didn't even come up to 1 lb it was under 1 lb. Again guys,,! I can go to del Taco and go and get something off from their two for $7 menu which guarantees 1 lb burritos each and I can order chicken ranch burritos and I can promise you they taste much better than a bean and cheese burrito from super burrito. Let's not be like these chain restaurants. Please...
Read moreon Thursday 4/3 I tried to call an order in and phones weren't working so I stopped in and placed my order and prepaid said I would be back in about 30 minutes or so to pick up my order, fully away that my order would be sitting and get cold etc(wasnt going to be an issue for me)the cashier said they could wait a bit before preparing which I said was fine. when I went back to pick up my order it hadnt been made, I purpose ordered ahead like that because I was in the middle of working, so when I came back to pick up oeder I was expecting to just run in grab order and go, but NO I had to wait for it to be prepared and then it turned out that my order was not correct because they rushed to fix it, when I called and brought this to their attention she told me to bring them back to be replaced which I couldnt do at that time because right after I left my car died in the middle of the road, her response to this was well I'll leave a note and they can remake your order the next day, well I didnt want burritos two days in a row, that at this point I just wanted my money back and I was told they cant do that, I could ask but that they most likely wouldnt do that, this is the second time at this location my order has not been correct and they expect youto leave your home or whatever the situation is they expect you stop what your doing and bring items back, I dont consider this good customer service, poor policies, I get they have to watch out for fraud etc but not fair to honest...
Read moreI love Mexican food. Its hard to screw up Mexican dish but this place did it. Spices, hot sauce, cilantro, heat it up and you got a Mexican dish. This place was dirty to start with. When I was walking through the door, I noticed 1# of grease on the windows and the handles, but I went in anyway. The girls behind the counter were very nice and sweet. That was the highlight of my visit. The place was dirty, to say the least, and there were only 3 or 4 people inside, including me. Then my food came. At first look I knew this is not going to be what I expected. Large cold, flower tortilla burrito with lots of shredded lettuce on top of it. When I bit into it to my surprise the whole thing was luke warm at best. Forget about "be careful, hot plate" and hot vapors teasing your senses. Cold American burrito with lettuce and runny cold sour cream on top of one end. It looked like someone dropped the spoon on it while trying to apply it. The beans inside were clumped together and cold, the meat, AL Pastor, did not even taste like Mexican picadillo at all. It was some mix of shredded beef and pulled pork, cold and chewy. The whole thing was disappointing beyond belief. I would compliment the food if I call it Horrible, it was worse then horrible. I will never eat...
