Upon completing my fourth consecutive 12+ hour night shift in ICU for the week, I enjoyed a satisfying breakfast at Le Peep on Main Street. We consistently experience friendly faces and exceptional service. Ericka, our server on multiple occasions, demonstrates remarkable commitment. Today, she introduced an option I wasn't aware of, enhancing my experience!! Typically, I opt for the Monday Blues, 6 blueberry pancakes featuring scratch-made blueberry compote, and add a side of bacon. Ericka offered a combo option, including four blueberry pancakes, two eggs, home potatoes or hash browns, and bacon or sausage. The variety was such a treat!! Le Peep also serves fun adult beverages, catering to diverse preferences. This is a night shifters' dream!! My husband selected eggs Benedict and a short stack. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring leftovers. Open until 2 pm, Le Peep offers breakfast, brunch, and lunch items throughout the day. The atmosphere is a cheery modern Cafe, with some Speedway accents. It's a great place to go to brunch with friends too!! We highly recommend Le Peep on Main for outstanding service and cuisine!!
PS. As a nurse, I am super picky about cleanliness!! Le Peep is "Nurse Clean"!! Even the bathrooms!!
Update: Le Peep continues to be a breakfast favorite in Speedway Indianapolis!! Martha had been our server several times, and she is fabulous!! The friendly vibe and delicious food keep us coming back!! It's also in a fun area on Main Street, which is being revitalized. Sometimes, we enjoy walking around on Main...
Read moreWow. We've been looking for a breakfast place to suit us and this is it. The decor is minimalist and stylish. The black and white theme is really appealing, with the floor to ceiling windows giving a really modern look, unlike some of the other franchise locations.
We really had a great experience across the board. A couple of extra touches made the difference for me. One of the other staffers brought our food and I requested my large milk be brought with my food, which didn't happen. After a few minutes, our server walked past our table, giving it a quick once over, as she helped another table. Next I knew, she went and poured me a milk and got it right to me. Most times I end up not getting my milk till I'm halfway done. Nice attentiveness.
We stopped the manager to ask about our short stack of pancakes. It seemed a bit much for a short stack and we wanted to make sure we weren't ripping them off. He assured us that was the normal size for a short stack. He said he didn't want us to leave hungry and wanted people to leave satisfied. He was pretty personable and amusing.
We were there on a Sunday and it was busy, but not packed. I'm sure it's because the word hasn't gotten out yet about its location. Zero complaints. I hope they keep it up, cause it has now become my go-to...
Read moreWe were excited to try out this breakfast spot. We were able to be seated right away. It wasn’t busy.
However the experience with the server was strange. She started off nice. She took our order. (But didn’t write it down) Came back a couple mins later to clarify the French toast order…ok no problem. Then she comes back after another few mins to clarify our drink order. Maybe 10 mins pass.. she comes back with the caramel macchiato, but they are iced and we asked for them to be hot. She immediately caught her mistake before we could say anything and takes them back in like a snatching motion. We get our food and the French toast order is wrong 🤣😂but we don’t ask her to take it back bc at this point I’m nervous for her to touch anything else. She becomes very snappy and we were like is everything ok? And she says yeah why wouldn’t it be? We didn’t get a refill on water and we had to ask for napkins..the odds part is we can see her interactions with other customers and she was super polite. So we just asked another server to help us instead and she was nice.
So based on that. We won’t return. I read the reviews and others mentioned the server as well and I wonder if it was the same one we experienced. Clearly we should have taken it seriously and went...
