Darcy's Restaurant and Spirits — Restaurant in Spokane Valley

We had a group of ten with reservation. We were traveling around Washington that weekend. Our stop was going to be Richland after Spokane Valley. When we arrived, everyone seemed nice. A server came over and began helping, but then another server came over and "claimed" the table service. That was the start of a terrible night. The restaurant didn't seem very busy, but she was rushing between five tables, she claimed. She got all of our drink and food orders wrong. A couple people never got the drinks we ordered, but we weren't charged for them either. We were there on a Saturday when they were having their prime rib special, so most of us ordered prime rib. First she told us they didn't have enough prime rib, so a couple of us substituted a different entree. Then she came back and said they had enough prime rib. Between drink orders, salad options, and changing entrees, the server would come by the table, rapidly asked a question, and never waited long enough for the answer. It seemed like she wouldn't let any of the other servers help; like she was edging to get all the tips for herself. The other servers weren't busy at all. Unfortunately for her, our group did not leave a very generous tip. One person in our group got frustrated and left. He walked over to the McDonald's across the parking lot. Another person, knowing it was going to be a long drive to Richland and our food was taking a very long time, quickly ate his dinner and left before the rest of the group. He had to make an emergency pit stop on the way to Richland due to the bad food he'd eaten at Darcy's. The whole night, I was picturing Gordon Ramsey to come out from the back and start yelling...

I was invited by co-works to come check this place out after work. It's right down the road from me, so I took my 11 year old son and we walked in. First, there is no waiter or waitress and no signs to seat self or where to go. So we stood there for a bit, no one walked over. Naturally we walked toward where all the people were sitting at tables and by TV's only to get yelled at that we needed to leave. I asked the bartender if we could walk through what turned out to be a bar eating/drinking area and we got yelled at again to leave. I understand minors in bars, but when you have a restaurant and no wait staff and all we did was WALK IN....that's rude. We didn't sit down, we didn't even stop and look at the bar. We walked in. They treated us like my son was a leper. It was the most embarrassing thing I've ever had happen at a restaurant. Everyone got quiet and was watching the bartender and some old drunk golfer dudes yell at us to "get out." Next time I'll sit my kid down at the bar and order him a nice cold beer, since that's what they acted like we were about to do. For the record, I don't drink. We came here to check out the food at a local restaurant. We wont ever go back. Place was dirty looking anyway and lots of dirty plates and trash all...

I'm not generally one to write bad reviews, but this one is needed. I have been sick now (Throwing up) since I left due to the food issue. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye steak and it showed up RAW. I let the waitress know (she was very nice) and she apologized and took it back. They re-served the same steak from my plate, RAW a second time. I told them I wasn't going to eat it due to the issue, and they did not originally comp any part of the meal. It wasn't until I went back to the manager and spoke with her (She was fairly unpleasant) and said well you ordered it medium rare. I kindly let her know there is a HUGE difference between medium rare and RAW/BLUE completely uncooked. It seems the cook flash cooked the meat and didn't take the time to get it properly cooked. The most frustrating part is it was taken back and served raw a second time with no apologies from the management staff or remediation done to correct the issue. VERY disappointed as we had a very large group and the customer service on the managers part was very disappointing. She said "I am still going to charge you for the salad and side baked potato." DO NOT RECOMMEND and will be speaking to our regular group about possibly finding somewhere new to go for...
