I'm a frequent visitor here. The quality of the food has always been hit or miss, which is expected for a fast food restaurant. However, for over a year now this location has been severely understaffed, leading to consistently long wait times. It's a rare occurrence that my online order is ready less than 20 minutes after the estimate provided by the app. It's often up to 40 minutes after.
To be clear, this has nothing to do with the employees; every single time I've had to wait, there have been one or two people absolutely working their butts off to deal with a flood of customers and orders, and they are often very apologetic about the wait. There are simply not enough people to deal with the traffic this store gets.
This review is not based on one bad experience; it's been a problem for the vast majority of more than a dozen visits over the past year. The failure of either management, the franchisee, and/or corporate to staff the location correctly leads to a terrible experience for customers, and almost certainly a worse experience for the staff. I would be shocked if this location doesn't have a much higher than average turnover rate, because it's hard to imagine working for much time under these conditions.
I wish I could review the food here, but unless the staffing issues are corrected, it's essentially irrelevant. Any well-made meal that comes out of this restaurant (and I've had several, I wouldn't keep coming back if it was always gross) is a miracle that happened despite all the conditions that have been created outside of the employees' control. Read moreThis store is absolutely ridiculous, and should not be willing to have doordash services if they are not going to prioritize them, or have any respect for the dashers time. I do doordash, to make money on the side because I am a full time student, who still has bills. I went into Qdoba to pickup a doordash at 12:28. It is currently 12:45 and I am still waiting for the order. One lady came in and said she was also picking up an online order.. Tate (the cashier) told one of the girls in the back to come up and help with the online orders. Funny how that couldn’t be done when I got there? The woman who came in after me left with her food within maybe 5 mins of being here. I asked when my order would be ready and she said “it next” 1st, with the most attitude, and 2nd with no urgency or priority to door dashers at all. She has since set out 3 DOORDASH orders that have not been the order I originally came for. I am just now leaving the store at 12:50 (23 mins after I arrived) and all that’s on my order is 1 quesadilla. I would also like to add that Tate would stay on her phone for extended periods of time, either in the BOH or right at the front desk in between orders. Read moreThis place is next level gross. I love qdoba but this location is bad. I get it every week on division. The floors, counters, tables are covered in filth at this one on pines. The kitchen is so nasty its definitely breaking multiple health codes.There literally sliding your bowl through all the food on the counters. Like seriously just make a quick swipe with a rag. Even the glass protector by the food is filthy. I wish i would have gotten a picture of it. The kid managing the shift in the black long sleeve with the backward hat didn't give a care about anything. He honestly look liked the laziest one. The guy with the dark redish qdoba shirt was continously wiping the snot from his nose as he slowlllyyyyy made the uber eats orders. The guy in the yellow shirt was the best one on shift constantly hustling, greeting and communicating with the customers as the other employees stood there like bots. He should definitely be the one managing. There was a girl on shift as well who kept peeking out around the wall in the back avoiding the line.
