DO NOT GO HERE!

Firstly we were really excited to try this cool little place out and i am sorry to have to write a 1 star review. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my mom.

-Very poor service. Asked for napkins 5 times. They never came. -Asked for butter and they said they didn't have any when every piece of their Texas toast has butter on them. The manager had a bad attitude when we asked, and we were so polite. -Forgot sides had to remind them the meal came with them. -The manager was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and rude to my family. When my mom wanted to peak at the front car the dark haired woman that claimed to be the manager said, "You need to get out of the way, bar service customer's comes first" after we spent that much. My family spent over 200 dollars here, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food was way over priced and the ribs were bitter, dry and way over barked. Everything over cooked.

We waited for over an hour for our food and they were not busy at all.

Very poor manager I don't know why they would even higher someone like that. My mother works hard for the little bit of money she has and to be that disrespected is unacceptable. Bad behavior, bad...

The food was fine. The location was interesting. The service, however, was disappointing. The menu states that happy hour is between 3pm-6pm. When I got the bill the happy hour prices were not applied and I was told that happy hour is only at the bar. I double checked and it does not say this on the menu. The waitress even apologized that it wasn't expressed on the menu. After checking with her supervisor we were informed that they would not readjust our bill for the happy hour prices.

Service is important during our current economic situation. I really wanted to like this place.

Unfortunately, due to poor customer service, we will not be dining here again.

Reply to owners: Your menu states that appetizers are $2 off during happy hour. It does not state that happy hour is limited to the bar. Your own waitress even apologized and agreed that the menu was not clear.

Even if it was stated (it wasn't) surely you can see how this would be an easy mistake to make. And as a business owner you don't seem to understand or care how easy it would have been to make this right and assure...

Pretty good local BBQ place with a touch of class. The brisket was pretty good served on Texas toast on these nice rectangular plates, the dish that I had was called "Pineapple Express" which included 2 sides (I recommend their cilantro lime coleslaw!) And my other side was the 5 cheese jalapeño mac & cheese. The interior was nicely decorated and it has a nice touch to it (kind of felt like I should've worn a dress shirt with my slacks instead of my t-shirt once I was inside), the only thing I didn't like was the feeling of being too crowded and not enough space to move around comfortably since it's inside a train. I felt bad for the staff having to carry customer's trays filled with their food. Before your food comes out you are presented with 3 sauces, 2 of them a BBQ sauces, one "spicy" and one sweet and the other was some type of mustard (honey mustard?) which I didn't bother to try. All in all I thought it was pretty good BBQ and their prices...

11 of us from my 91 year old Mom to my 9 year old grand daughter enjoyed a memorable dinner at Smoke Ridge BBQ on Sunday. We chose multiple appetizers, which were all scrumptious, drinks (Mom ordered the Bloody Mary, which was amazing!) and main dishes. Smoke flavor - not overpowering, but "just right" - permeated all of the dishes. Everyone ordered different items and it was fun watching everyone wanting a taste of everyone else's food! I had the pasta bowl with Alfredo Sauce and smoked chicken - very good! Really liked the way John (owner) incorporates the base smoked meats into unique dishes that truly pleased the palate. Gonna come back soon for Taco Thursday, as those menu choices look yummy too. Definitely a "go back again" experience!

Whoa now Spokane Valley, we’ve got a serious gem right here! I stumbled upon this place while driving and was drawn to the rustic cable train car & the bright open patio with colored umbrellas. With a little bb king and Eric Clapton in the background & the fragrant barbecue smoke lingering in the air while you sip a flavorful martini, this place is sure to stay in your memory! Absolutely will be back! Their garlic focaccia bread is fabulous! Try the mountain berry milk train martini!
