So my little sister ended up locking her keys and phone in her car at the Stupid Cow Cafe. She went to ask for a phone to use to call someone to help her bring a spare key. The gentleman working told her “No it’s a work phone.” She then proceeded to say she really needed help and needed to call someone, with attitude he said “Fine..make it quick.” When she called me (her brother) to help her I said “yea I’ll be right there,” then hung up. I then I had to call her back just to ask where the spare key was. When I called the Cafe again, the gentleman picked up and said, “ Studpid Cow Cafe,” I said “hey my sister locked her keys in her car and I need to talk to her really quick,” he said(with attitude) “ hey. It’s Stupid Cow Cafe, can I help you,” I then proceeded to tell him I need to talk to my sister really quick, she locked her keys in her car. He then annoyingly said “what? Oh yea she’s outside.” I then said “I need to talk to her really quick, can you give her the phone,” He said angerliy “Make it quick” and then when he gave my sister the phone I heard him say the same thing in an annoyed angerily voice. That guy was an inconsiderate jackass who doesn’t care if someone from the community is in need. Made my sister wait outside In the cold and then proceeded to give her attitude when she asked for the phone. He could of easily had her use a cell phone and/or been more...
Read moreWe have eaten here so many times before the pandemic hit. The food was always wonderful as was the staff. Today we ate here for the first time since the pandemic. We went here because our pizza place was not at the farmers market in Liberty Lake (I had a very saddened hubby he didn't get his pizza), so we decided to come back here since we were already in the area. There was not many people here so it was not a busy time. While our food was delicious the wait times from sitting down to getting our food was quite frustrating specially when you have two hungry and growing boys. We arrived and were seated quite quickly, however, it took 20 mins for our waitress to return to get just our drink order (please keep in mind this was not a busy time and there were two other waitresses on staff so our waitress was definitely not overwhelmed). Then another 10 mins to get our order. Now I cannot account if kitchen staff was short staffed or not and definitely believe that they did a wonderful job. I would love to give 5 stars but the waitresses were not very attentive with many customers as a general observation. I cannot see what goes on in the kitchen they may have been short staffed and everyone was filling in where they could...
Read moreThis was my second visit. I give all places a few chances just incase the 1st visit was a fluke. The waitress doesn't have much of any service skills. Both times my drinks were not refilled and she didn't come back to the table after the food was served. It was the same waitress both times. The food was burnt. The potatoes were blackened and nasty. The omelette was tastless and had only a sprinkle of cold cheese on top and I mean just a few shreds of cheese. The first time I went I got two slices of toast and my second visit only one. The gravy needs flavor. I have a feeling this is a Husband and wife setup and they are a little overwhelmed. I really want this place to succeed but in a breakfast place the food needs to be top notch every order no matter what. Front of the house needs to cleat clear tables smile and refill drinks and bring out amazing food as soon as its ready to sell. Share a laugh maybe if you have time. Please get better. The Spokane Valley needs a great...
