I ordered from Benniditoās on Saturday the August 3rd at 6:28 PM and the order left the store at 7:05 PM. At 7:25 I called and asked where my pizza was as it had been about an hour since Iād placed my order. The young man I spoke with seemed confused as to why I would be worried about getting my order in a timely fashion. At 7:45 I called again and spoke with a young woman. At this point my pizza was sitting in the driverās car for 40 minutes, so I cancelled my order. At 7:52 the driver, another young man who looked like he was stoned, knocked on my door with a pizza that had been sitting in his car for 47 minutes. I told him I cancelled the order and that he had failed at this job. It took 84 minutes from the time I ordered for the driver to arrive at my door.
Benniditoās styles itself as a premium pizza restaurant, and my order of one large Meat Primo pizza, an 8 piece wing, and a large desert pizza totaled at $46.45 without tip. Unfortunately my experience was not befitting of a premium restaurant. When I called to cancel my order I asked for the managerās name, and was told there was no manager for that shift. I asked for the ownerās name, Chris Bennett, and was told heād be in on Tuesday.
When I called on Tuesday to speak with Chris he never once apologized for my experience, and in fact sounded apathetic to the fact that his restaurant had given poor service. He gave me the impression I was bothering him, and did not offer to āmake it rightā with a free pizza or credit for my next order. As of right now (three full days after I cancelled my order) I see a pending charge for $46.45 on my account, and am still waiting for my card to be credited. If this charge processes and is not reversed I will be forced to contact the Better Business Bureau, and file a police report.
The company that I work for orders pizza from Benniditoās every month or so, and our orders are always over $200. Since Iām the one placing the order my company will be spending its money somewhere else. Personally, I will not be ordering from Benniditoās again since even the owner, Chris Bennett, had no desire to make me a āsatisfied customerā.

Ā Ā Ā Read more5 star for the best pizza in the region we know of, and since we've moved here from San Diego since 2003, we've been to a lot. Always searching for similar quality, we came to love in Little Italy and various traditional family owed shops. Beneditos IMHO is the best even better than any SD pizzas. My husband still holds out for his fav for a couple of the old family traditional pizzerias in San Diego. But he sure dies oooh and awe everytime he sinks he teeth into his favorite pep and sausage Beneditos pizza. And the Greek salad is truly our favorite at any restaurant! Small is plenty big enough for the two of us. They bring you both the creamy pesto and red wine ginger and oil for dressing. Bot SoOooo good. Our favorite server is Brian. He's amazing at everything! He's like a family friend. So sweet how he always remembers us and what we like to order. He is genuinely a congenial and charming fellow as well as being incredibly efficient even when that place is packed! Unfortunately we were there on Friday the 16th of August, late afternoon and Brian wasn't there. The server was a very lack luster gal. No charm and not very efficient. She brought my Hawaiian Sammie burnt and my husband's pizza cold. He could see it just sitting up on the shelf for a good 10 minutes or so until she finally stopped yacking with the chef and kitchen help. Also, the restaurant was only about 30-40% full. Perhaps we'll call ahead next time to be sure if Brian is there to be sure our meal and overall experience is going to be as pleasant as it usually is when Brian is there even if he isn't able to serve us it seems like the other staff step us their quality of service when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had high hopes for this place based on how nice it looks, but appearances can be deceiving. My wife called in a carry-out order, and the staff told her the pizza would be ready in 25 minutes. We arrived about 30 minutes laterāonly to be told it would be another half hour! The reason? They hadnāt even started making our pizza yet and blamed it on a new staff member. The worst part is they actually charged my wife right then, before our order was even in the oven. I found that bizarre, especially since I donāt like paying for something I havenāt received or might not even want anymore at that point.
They claimed they would comp our order to make up for the delay, but that never happened. So not only did they keep us waiting an extra 30 minutes, they also didnāt deliver on their own offer to fix the situation. Talk about disappointing customer service.
When we finally did get homeāa five-minute drive at mostāthe pizza was already cold. The toppings on one slice of the āmeat loverā pizza were piled so high it looked ridiculous, and the breadsticks seemed like someone had thrown them into the box without any care. The ingredients (like the jalapeƱos and pineapple) did seem fresh, but itās not enough to make up for terrible execution and even worse customer service.
Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. It looks nice and has potential, but the way itās run just seems sloppy. They clearly donāt respect their customersā time. With so many other great local pizza spots in Spokane, I wouldnāt waste my timeāor moneyāon this one. You can definitely do...
