This place is a must go to for Spokane!!!!! The server was very friendly and kind! We all ordered sandwiches and they were amazing! some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. i will definitely be coming back :)) they did add pickles to me and my dads sandwiches to the side and we don’t like pickles but hey you can always request it off the dish. the Jojos are amazing! Huge and fresh and hot. A little bit greasy and Falling apart quickly but they were amazing. Grilled cheese sandwich had a great pull from the cheese, my folks enjoyed their Hawaiian and p.i club sandwich. definitely gonna come back for the pizza next visit. such a great experience and view of the window towards the hospital watching cars go by. overall I’m definitely coming back.
EDIT: I'd like to add more on this because every time i come it's just better and better. I'd like to add on my past few visits here, the most recent i had the broasted chicken dinner and it's the best fried chicken i ever had. They give you a wing, thigh, leg and breast and every one of them was juicy, like i was shocked how moist the breast was and most restaurants have it pretty dry but not here, and i got my jojos loaded with bacon and cheese and they're better than getting them plain, and the visit prior i had the mozz sticks and those gargantuan behemoths are cheesy, gooey and fried to a perfection. And then i had a meat pizza and it was decent, nothing too special but one id not be afraid to have with friends again.
Oh and the last little sidenote, those cookies you can get for 50 cents from the jar are worth it, they're incredibly chewy, chocolaty and moist.
Don't ever contemplate on not going just because its next to the hospital, its some of the best food I've had. 🙌🙌
PS. If you got kids bring some spare quarters for the pinball machines along with a arcade hunting...
Read moreWe have eaten here several times and the food has always been good. However, today when we stopped, the service was NOT good. It was a little bit to be desired. First of all a couple came in 10 minutes after us, and they were acknowledged first and their order was taken and about five minutes after that, we were acknowledged and our order was taken. Another couple came and sat down. They waited for 15 minutes and nobody acknowledged them, so they got up and left. We sat for 35 minutes waiting on a sandwich and chicken strips. Nobody came to acknowledge us or to explain why it was taking a little extra time that would have been nice and not leaving us sitting there wondering why no one is saying anything or acknowledging us. While we were sitting there we were watching our server standing at the counter on her cell phone. When our food finally came, as usual, it was very good and it was hot. When I asked very politely why it was taking so long, she just said that they were training a new cook and I politely asked if I could make a suggestion. It would be very nice and helpful if you would let your customers know if there's a delay or when that our food be out in few minutes. I would've totally understood and probably never said anything about the 35 minute wait. She said she was going to go get the manager. I watched her talking to the manager but the manager never came over and acknowledged us at all the rest of the time we were there and it seemed like our server was disgusted because we said anything at all so the food was great service was not! By the way, there were only three families in the entire restaurant and one left before our order...
Read moreI want to talk about the pizza. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, it's very unique pizza compared to anything else in Spokane. I would classify it as a bar style pizza, but that doesn't tell the whole story. We tried the M.L. Special, a type of supreme combo that seems to be the premier pizza at Park Inn. The pizza is served in a party cut. First off, the crust. It's a pre-made crust which is probably the love it or hate it point for most people. The crust is thin, but not cracker thin. There is no stretch to the crust, like you will get from the gluten in a classic pizza dough. the crust reminds me of shortbread and it gets crispy along the edges. Next is a thin layer of sauce, then a generous amount of toppings. So many toppings that they will slide off the crust. This may sound like a criticism, but it's not. This one came with sausage, beef, mushrooms, olives and onions. Interestingly, the flavor of the ground beef really came through. Often if you get hamburger on a pizza, it's flavor will get drowned out by the other toppings. Topping it off is a thick blanket of cheese, with some nice browned spots on top. The stretch of the cheese made me flash back to old Godfather's pizza commercials. On top of that is slices of fresh tomato. This pizza has a very nostalgic taste, my dining companion said it reminded her of the home made pizza her Mom used to make. I can see why many people call it their favorite pizza in town, it reminded me of...
