In July 2019 we made a very difficult decision to leave the Spokane area and move back to Iowa to be near our parents and family as we were all getting older and we had been away for 41 years. So we made the very hard decision to leave our son and granddaughter and put our beautiful home, and perfect location to live in Spokane on the market, with a different realtor at that time.
Due to the lack of enthusiasm and any help at all from our first realtor, in November we interviewed three realtors, and all three would have been fine, but Spencer just appeared to fit our style better than the rest. He is very high energy, has a history of selling homes and has a solid plan to sell homes. The first weekend was our open house, and it was a success, we had seven couples that viewed the home, and their response was very encouraging. The house was very clean, priced right and the location was beautiful. We continued to have traffic of 2-4 people per week once we listed our home with Spencer. Previously we were lucky to have that in a month.
Our home was on the market from July to November, with very little traffic, or assistance from our first realtor, once Spencer and his team took over our home sold within approximately 60 days, and we received a fair price.
We were always able to contact Spencer, and we always dealt with him directly. Very rarely did his team members contact us, as it was important that we dealt with Spencer directly. One of the best attributes was I was able to ask Spencer questions about the market, and what was selling and what was not, and how well do homes sell in this area, this price....or any other question about how the house was showing and he would give me the answers. He also kept up on the responses to make sure our house continued to show, and validate the price was good.
