EDIT: because they want to reply and claim im lying, i had only drank 1 beer at a different bar that night, and if talking loudly and enjoying ourselves was "being rowdy" then kick everyone else out too. this place sucks and is unsafe. discriminatory weirdos that dont respect autistic folk refusing service cuz my friend was "being weird and quiet" my other friend tried walking out with a beer (yea they shouldnt have) but the bouncer tackled them and broke their ankle no matter the situation they should not have been forceful enough to BREAK A BONE we spent all night in the ER and it was messed up the staff was just rude and i did not enjoy my experience at all EDIT: annoying theres no way to respond but their response is simply not true, i had genuinely truthfully not had a single drink that night when the bartender denied me a beer for being "too drunk" when that would have been my first drink of the night. the violence was only initiated after the bouncer had broken my friends ankle, and regardless of rowdiness (aggressively singing, dancing, and being flamboyant) your staff should never be using enough force to break bones. it took 6 months for that to heal. there are better ways of managing drunk folk, learn how to do it,...
Read more🏳️🌈 Amazing , warm inviting place for all who enter 🧭 Came back to spokane for a weekend of Halloween traditions, be a third wheel and early halloween fun to visit my best friend and her girlfriend. Came to drinkery for drag Bingo night and came back then for their Friday the 13th Zombie Drag Show! A fun place to be with friends and leave with new friends! The owners are super sweet! Thank you for all the support you give others, the warm inviting safe space you bring to the garland district, and the feeling of love you shared with the big warm welcome when I visited. both bartenders on eve I was there were attentive, and friendly! The security on event night were also super nice, and attentive. All staff, and drag performers are amazing! The taco truck outside was yummy too! Loved the water cooler avail for refills as lines got busy inside in bar between sets on show night. Inside and outside are cozy, clean and I'll definately visit again when in spokane! If ya haven't visited the garland drinkery recently, do it! Clean, fun, safe and much needed...
Read moreI don’t usually mess around with reviews but behold here I am, This review goes to other reviewers, for example @ WatchMe WatchYou, biggest advice on the wonderful garland drinkery bar is it’s a vibe for vibe exchange, and if in the off chance you don’t know what that means let me spell it out for ya……if you walked in on your high and mighty high horse and started being a rotten individual the vibe was more than likely met equally, try again another night because if there’s one thing I know about the owners of the establishment is that not a single thing was given to them, I looked up the definition of the term “earned with blood, sweat and tears” and their picture was pasted right next to it, you see the problem here is everything a social exchange so if they had no etiquette with you it’s more than likely that you had no etiquette with them. This isn’t a 9 to 5 job at a grocery store and I promise you the customer isn’t always right, next time maybe try leaving the ego at the door and actually try having...
