My partner and I stopped by during the week and I can genuinely say this was a 5/5 ⭐️ experience. We came after the lunch rush was over which was the ideal time bc we got to really talk our server and get to know the menu. We tried the pork belly bites (and did tofu instead) and they were amazing. The tamarind sauce was perfectly tangy, but next time we will stick to pork bc the sauce is perfect to cut through the fattiness and once eating it totally made sense why that was the sauce they chose. (Although the tofu was great) I had the vegan fried chicken with the Korean BBQ and if you are a lover of spicy & sweet this is the ideal sauce to chose. I also recommend doing chimichurri fries rather than regular bc who doesn’t love chimichurri. My partner had the Korean Seoul Cheesestake and he LOVED it. It was also absolutely massive and he took the rest home and it’s one of the quickest time leftovers have been consumed in our home. What truly impressed us was the mushroom ‘calamari’. I’m very picky with mushrooms and this genuinely impressed me. Perfectly fried to a crunch, and the seasoning they used truly made it taste like calamari-but somehow better? Please try it!!!! Very impressed. The quality of the food is truly great and this is one of the better places we have been to in Spokane. Will be...
Read moreMy Wife and oldest Son and I just had an incredible experience at the recently opened Kindred Public House on north Monroe. From the first step through the door the staff seemed genuinely eager to make sure we had a great experience. Our server Sadira was very helpful with navigating the menu and her eagerness to offer suggestions of her favorites kind of got me hyped to try the food here. Shortly after our drinks were served a mysterious man appeared with an short rib street taco appetizer he said was accidentally over produced from the kitchen. The tacos are absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of pickled veg to accompany a mountain of juicy and perfectly seasoned short rip meat. Then came our entrees I had the Seoul Cheese steak with garlic fries and side of Ranch. The cheese steak was well portioned and delicious every bite. The ranch is noticeably house made with flavor that can only be found with fresh herbs. My wife had the classic burger with the chimi fries, and our Son had the prototype burger with fruit cup. Everyone was super satisfied with thier meal and had no room for dessert. The service here is amazing and really made us feel welcome like a regular even though it was our first time. 10/10 family...
Read moreMy husband and I went here for date night on a Friday, arriving just before 4 p.m. We were excited to try this new restaurant after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite.
We seated ourselves, ordered quickly, and only asked for three simple items: a small appetizer, a salad, and chicken strips. Not only did we wait more than 45 minutes while multiple tables that arrived after us (including a family of six) were served full meals, but we couldn’t even get a clean glass of water. After requesting multiple times, every glass brought to the table was dirty or had something on it.
When we finally asked our waitress if we could just pay for the appetizer and one drink so we could leave, she simply said “okay.” No apology, no concern, no effort to make things right.
This was by far the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant, which is especially disappointing for a new business in town. First impressions matter, and sadly, this one left us with no...
