I was so excited to try out this new coffee shop! I saw the plants and I was like, that’s my place. But holy….I have never had such bad customer service.
For starters, I asked if they had white coffee and a brunette says, “I don’t know, does it say we do on the menu?” The menu said white drip so I asked the long blond girl for one of the specials with white coffee. She snottily tells me we don’t have white coffee, so my husband order his chai while I look further at the menu. I decide to just get the special with regular coffee. She calls out later “chais ready at the bar.” Confused, I was like these aren’t mine right? Well they were. I explained we only order one chai, she goes “No. You didnt. You said you were having the same thing as him.” I explained I said regular coffee and SHE GLARED AT ME AND DUMPED IT DOWN THE DRAIN - while rolling her eyes, “well what did you order then?!” I told her again, 3x now..
Didn’t let her ruin my vibe, we were going into a meeting with a potential vendor. Our vendor chose not to order a drink once she arrived 15 minutes later because she got attitude the second she walked in the door and was going to give the girl time to regain composure and grab a coffee on the way out. We left 10 minutes to closing and she proceeded to order her coffee and the same girl goes, “No, we’re closed.” The vendor goes, “like just coffee or everything?” “You can grab something out of the fridge if you really want to.” Like what in the hell? You don’t close for 10 minutes….definitely will not be returning because of their customer service, from 2 different employees. Super bummed because that place could have...
Read moreI visit coffee and tea shops galore in many states...on this side of the tracks of the USA b/c I take my clients to them so I have to be up to par w/what's pleasant and not! Wifi is available for customers, upfront...the gal was so polite, friendly, and just sweet as...ev! Inside the shop is very cute, like my style of decor. The air is like healing in here...joyful, other customers are minding their own business, not loud at all...some coffee houses - people's chatter will echo, lol! The music is a fine balance. My tea was extremely good, no jk! The tea I ordered was Oolong by Rival Tea Co. I learned they have a shop downtown but they close too early for me...Ladder Coffee Roaster has many locations so I was stoked about that. I found this shop b/c I was so unhappy w/many of them downtown. The main street is Monroe, the road can get busy but it's OK, for serious. The parking lot is a decent one...thank God, can't stand parking on gravel, period. ...ooOOoo, and don't let me forget to say; inside is very lit up by...
Read moreFriendly service, nice clean place with nice decor…looks like a nice place to study or do computer work…ok great, but I came here for coffee and it wasn’t good. Either the roasters don’t roast good coffee or they don’t train baristas to pull shots correctly. I’m from Seattle and I’ve yet to find a decent coffee shop here in Spokane. Even their worst coffee there is better than the best here, so I just pull shots at home 9 times out 10. Cravens is good coffee, but most places I’ve been to that serve it don’t pull shots correctly, so I don’t get to experience how good the coffee really is. Yokes in Deer Park of all places pulls a nice shot.
Edit: I saw the response to another customer saying the coffee was bad, that they should have told the barista to remake it, and that they need feedback to make it better…k..so that’s what google reviews are for. The bad reviews consistently say the coffee is bad sour/bitter, not good bitter like coffee should be. It isnt on the customer to teach a barista how to...
