Well I can't speak for the food, my time here was VERY short lived. I was getting gas at the Fred Meyer gas station and decided to run across the street to buy a couple cups of water for my dog and I. Since there were no vending machines and Fred Meyer was closed it was the only logical solution. I walked over and passed a gentleman sitting in the outside patio area and went through the back door. The bathroom was right there which was perfect because my water from earlier has run its course. Well I was finishing my business when there was a knock on the door. I answered with "Just a minute." A female voice replied, "You have 5 seconds." I thought she was being funny until she started counting down from 5. A little baffled I was rushing to pull up my pants when she got to 1 and I heard the key pop the lock and the door flew open. I was shocked. She just looked at me and said, "were closed and your friends left without you." She was obviously mistaken. Once I was able to pick my jaw up off the floor from the rude and disrespectful interaction I told her sorry I didn't know they were closed because I just got there and the open sign was still on. To this she replied, "well were closed so wash your hands and get out.". I couldn't believe what just happened. No apology, definitely no water and I was super embarrassed from being treated like I was a child who had been seconds away from unintentionally showing a stranger my downstairs. The whole thing was so embarrassing I was almost in tears. When I left there were a few gentlemen sitting outside. I apologized and told them when I got there the open sign was still on and I mentioned how I was treated very rudely. One said, "Shes had had a rough night." I didn't know what to say... Because now I was having a rough night. I don't know if I'll ever give this establishment another chance. I get that sometimes people have an off day but that's no excuse to belittle...
Read moreHave eaten there a few times, good food. The time before last, we have troubles getting our drinks refilled. Glasses are filled with ice with only a couple swallows of pop. So refills are definitely needed during a meal. Went in last night. Got the same waiter. After a couple bites of food, and a couple swallows of drink. We set our empty glasses towards the edge of the table. Waiter missing for quite a long time, wife finally called him over, she told him they screwed up her order and we needed more drinks. Waiter brought her the correct food but no drink refills. Had to stop eating cuz nothing to wash the food down with. After waiting a while longer I finally walked across the Street and bought a couple of pops from the gas station. Finished our meal then waited quite a while for a box and a the check. Wondering why the hell we were being ignored, wife walks up to the bar and sees both bartenders and patrons busy messing with pull tabs. Finally she got ahold of a bartender and ask for a box and our bill. Wife and I eat out very often in this is the most we've ever been ignored at a restaurant. Very unfortunate because we've had a good experience the first 5 times eating there. Also during this whole debacle we observed our waiter sitting and chatting with other customers. So my message to owners, this waiter needs trained or let go. Also if you check your security cameras, you will see us waiting, me leaving, and coming back with bottles of...
Read moreThey had hired me for a music gig for the 17th of August and the 7th of September.... I was on the Oregon coast and left the coast early so I could make the 17th of August concert for them.
Red wheel canceled the concert for the 17th because of the heat on their outside stage area with no compensation to me or attempt to make up the show that they had canceled.
They could have put me in there on the 19th of August but they told me that they had a big catered event there that night and didn't think it was a good idea?!?!
They didn't have any entertainment scheduled and it's an outside stage patio venue. That sounds to me like it would have been a perfect time to put entertainment there.
They then just texted me today and said that their company had decided to cancel remaining music for the year and cancelled the September 7th show again with no compensation to me.
I get it I'm an independent contractor with no written contract with them, only a verbal telephonic agreement.
I had played events for them the previous years but now a new person by the name of Shelby had taken over and apparently she doesn't abide by her agreements.
You don't get and keep quality entertainment by those tactics. In the 34 years of doing entertainment I've only had one other place that has done that to me.
Karma may come around on them!
