Wake Up Call - Freya — Restaurant in Spokane

Iam extremely dissapointed & upset at having to write a bad review with wake up call, after having gotten coffee here for 5 years. But after what happened tonight I will no longer be getting coffee here in the future. I was already starting to make my own at home because of the expense and wait time etc etc when one is trying to rush to get to work in the morn, drop off kids etc. This evening as I was headed home from visiting my mom who lives an hour and a half away from me, I felt extremely tired and thought I'll hit wake up call on thor & freya because I was feelin rummy and was afraid I may fall asleep at the wheel, I preferred them over Dutch bros because I liked their unique service and coffee better, however tonight when I got there 10 mins Before closing...I repeat 10 mins...not 2 or 3 before closing I was told quite rudely that they were closed and would not be able to make me a cup of coffee. I said well according to online u have ten mins til closing. The barista replied that they'd been slow and shut down early and would not make me a cup. Their sign was still on when I had pulled up. I said really? I feel angry at how I was treated and made to feel, & having a job where I work in retail and stay open sometimes half an hour after Closing because of memebers this rubbed me very wrong. Sooo u can just close at your own whim? Because where I work we stay open at Least until we say when we close. If wake up call is going to do this they may think of a way to state that online. It IS not the weekend, when they close at 8, I have always tipped the baristas at least a dollar, which in my opinion making coffee is one of th e easiest jobs in the world to have, I know this 1st hand as I was a barista in high school and college. I can save that 5 to 10 bucks I spend daily and use it to go to dinner with the girls or buy creamer at Walmart that will last me a month of making coffees at home, instead of the 5 bucks spent that last me a day. Or in reality a couple of hours to drink an over priced cup of coffee. I have a good job, but wake up call is not the cheapest place to go too. If this is how iam to be treated and if they can close on a whim of whrn They feel like it...unlike my job...then I will take my business elsewhere after 5 years. Plus the 2 times iev been there before once my drink was made wrong, the other time the coffee was left out of it which I did not discover until I got to work and was forced to throw it away. A total waste of my money and time. I Will not spend money somewhere where someone is going to be rude to me, & close early. Ill be taking my money elsewhere. Throughly dissapointed and unhappy with what wake up...

This is the best Major coffee chain out there. Always a great wake up with wake up call. Some locations open as early as 4 a.m. some days. And are open to as late as 9 p.m. some days. Recommended Red Bull Irish soda or Red Bull smoothie. I will keep the best auction of Red Bull smoothie myself because I am greedy. But always ask your Barista at wake up call 4 their recommendation or ask for a surprise if undecided on what you want. All I have had to tell them in the past is I felt like a hot coffee with some coffee flavor some sweet but not too much of either or. And they never disappoint. And for those who are lactose intolerant and like marijuana. Lol. They also offer hemp milk instead of regular milk or soy or other type of milk products. That's right I said, hemp milk. It's kind of pricey for the hemp milk but so worth it. And always be sure to tip your wake-up call parista it is always much earned. Also check out there pastries and bagels and sandwiches. They even have cake pops. In my opinion the cake pops are ridiculous but to each his own.. and he. S. It is Italian soda with Red Bull not Irish. LMAO. If you want to make it Irish you can have your option of adding whiskey at your discretion. Just be sure to make it home first. We don't need and emergency Services call when we have our wake-up call. LMAO. Drive safe out there it is a ticket if you're caught drinking your wake up call coffee or smoothie while driving. Be patient either day at the shop and enjoy or make it safely home before indulging in the best coffee joint product in do United...

This is one of the reasons why I started making my drinks at home, but today my daughters and I were out running errands, so I decided to treat them with a fun drink. I ordered 4 drinks, one with Manhatter and 3 with redbull. We make flavored Red Bull, Italian sodas at home all the time. After we left they took a few sips and didn't like them at all. I thought they tasted a little different also. Come to find out after going back it was because they forgot red bull in them. Anyways I drove back, thinking they'd just swap the 2 little 12 oz. drinks for me. I thought maybe they accidentally used mad hatter instead of red bull...idk ?! So the guys reading back to me my order, I guess when I ordered we somehow got the drinks mixed up and forgot the red bull on two of them. Easy mistake I ordered 4 drinks, mistakes happen....but the guy told me in order to fix my drinks I would have to repay just under $15 again to get the correct drinks I thought I ordered the first time, and that he could throw away the first 2 I already paid for. So that would have been $30 for 2 12 oz. drinks....lol !!!! NOPE 🤦🏽‍♀️ Definitely won't be doing that again...
