This location has thee best Starbucks' barista ever!
I forgot her name, but it starts with D (I'll refer her as D on this review).
D realized I went to Starbucks the day before and called by my name. It was so sweet from her. Then I wanted to purchase 4 lemon cakes that tastes as the Venezuelan Panque Once-Once cake. D gently proposed me to add some strawberry topping to one of the cakes to try a different flavor. I consented and she spreaded the topping. D was smiling all the time, despite I arrived the store late night. She was willing to offer a good service and I appreciate her attention to satisfy my customer experience.
No doubt. D didn't give me a 5 but 10 A STARS service! She is great and deserves to be the manager of the store.
I'll stop by more often to the South Hill Starbucks for more coffee while I am in my break. Thank you D for your great service. This review is all for you!
Warm regards, guys!
Summer 2022. I went to the drive thru. Brooklyn was at the window. She was kind and asked me about my plans. We chatted for 2 minutes until she delivered my order. Brooklyn smiled all the time. She was fantastic. My edits of the review is for...
Read moreI recently had one of the most disappointing and disheartening experiences at this Starbucks location. When I arrived, my order was prepared carelessly — the food was sloppy and clearly not made with the same standard of care I’ve experienced at other stores. However, what made this situation far worse was the treatment I received as a customer.
As a Black individual, I felt judged from the moment I walked in. Instead of being welcomed with the respect and inclusivity Starbucks claims to value, I was made to feel unwelcome and ultimately asked to leave solely because of the color of my skin. Experiencing that level of discrimination in a place that markets itself as open and inclusive is not only unacceptable but deeply painful.
I am sharing this not just for myself, but for others who may walk into this store expecting kindness and respect. No one should be treated differently because of their race. I hope that Starbucks leadership takes this issue seriously, addresses the culture within this location, and ensures that all customers — regardless of skin color — are treated with dignity...
Read moreTypically when I come through here I have a 5 star experience. Until today, when I tried to walk through a car less drive through because I had my puppy and the Starbucks app was down. I was greeted with a dirty look, and spoken too like I’m some Karen who has no regard for policy. The drive through gal told me they can’t have people walk through the drive through. I tried to tell her their app was down, and I didn’t want to leave my dog outside because he’s just a baby, but I was given the same policy response and had the window closed in my face. When I came inside- the entire group of baristas (except the lovely gal who took my order) were shooting me dirty looks. I tried to stay positive. But this interaction was a horrible start to my day. I understand and respect policy, especially if it’s a safety issue- but the delivery didn’t have to feel belittling and nasty. This location is great- but the drive through gal who was working either needs a break, or to find a job that isn’t in...
